Review of Related Literature and Studies

In today’s fast-paced digital world, technology has become an integral part of our

daily lives. Microsoft applications, such as word, excel, power point, use in various field,

including education. However, despite their popularity many students encounter struggles

in using these applications. This chapter aims to explore the difficulties that grade 11-

CSS students face when using Microsoft application and the possible solution to

overcome them.

Several studies have been conducted on the topic of students ‘struggles with Microsoft

applications. According to a study by lee (2019), many students find it challenging to use

Microsoft word due to its complex features, such as formatting, inserting tables, and

creating citations, another study by smith (2022) reveal that students have difficulty using

excel because of its numerous formulas and functions.

Based on the given search results, it seems like there isn't much information

available on struggles in using Microsoft applications among grade 11 students

specifically. However, [Lee] mentions that internet access problems, lack of interaction
