Multiple Control Modes (PID)

What is a Proportional plus Integral plus Derivative (PID) Controller?

 PID controller is a combination of three terms; Proportional, Integral and Derivative.

Let us understand these three terms individually.

Laplace transforms are a type of mathematical operation that is used to transform a function
from the time domain to the frequency domain.

Feedback Control System with A Proportional Controller

G(S)= controlled system or plant (the transfer function of plant is G(S)

H(S)= feedback element or (the transfer function H(S)
C(S)= output
 A steady-state error is defined as the difference between the desired value and the
actual value of a system when the response has reached the steady state.
