1.Work to Permit system


a. Work permit will be taken as per job nature
b. Work permit will be sign by authorized issuer and area in charge.
c. Toll box talk will be conducted before start of job
d. Maintaining good housekeeping at start and end of job
e. Work permit will be requested by contractor authorized
f. WMS & RA will be shared with worker

2.Mobilization of Manpower, equipment and material


g. Conduct induction of staff and worker as per client requirement
h. Tools and equipment’s will be moved to site from storage area.

3.Soft and hard barricading

a. Soft and hard barricading of working area will be done.


b. Safety signs will be posted along soft barricading.

4.LOTO Applied Electrical & mechanical


A lockout/tagout procedure should include the following six steps:
a. Preparation.
b. Shutdown.
c. Isolation.
d. Lockout/tagout.
e. Stored energy check.
f. Isolation verification.
g. LAG OUT-TAG OUT will be applied by orient team when working on
electrical cables.

5.Demolishing Work

a. Wall will be demolished manually with the help of hammer and worker will be
wearing face shield during hammering work.
b. No worker will be working or standing within the line of fire.
c. Dismantling of existing reinforced beam, slabs and masonry walls will be done
as proposal
d. Ms grill will be removed manually by wearing leather gloves to avoid any hand
injury.
e. After removal of all item re-useable material will be placed at IBEX area in the
custody of PMI
f. Work at height will be done as per requirement.
g. Dismantling of floor, walls and slab will be done as per requirement.
h. Safe Distance will be maintained from cables and equipment.
i. Activity will be performed under the site and EHS supervision. 19. End
of the day, Area issuer and owner will ensure the safe working before
permit closer.
j. Activity will be performed under the supervision of Site and EHS
supervision.
k. No PMI property will be damaged during the job.
l. Align with area owner and issuer at the end of the days before closer
of permit to ensure working according to the plan.

6.Excavation work for foundation

a. Excavation work will be started and will be done with Hilti machine and hoe
b. Excavation work will be done for main hole and pipe installation.
c. Excavated material will be kept at 2 feet from excavated area.
d. Excavation depth /specs will be as per requirement.

While excavation working worker will excavate in opposite directions.

7.Debris Shifting

a. After demolishing work shifting of debris will be started.


b. It will be done manually and will be done step by step.
c. Slabs will break down in two pieces and will be bended manually and will be
shifted in wheel cart.
d. While transportation of debris one flagman will be there for route clearance.
e. Debris will be shifted from site to IBEX Area.
f. Social Distance will be maintained.

8.Severage work and installation of supply lines

a) After completion of civil work PVC supply pipes installation will be


done.
b) Pipe diameter is 6-8” and will be jointed with outer Severage drain.
c) Chemical will be applied on collar joints to stop leakage.
d) After that testing of Severage pipe line will be done to find out any
water leakage.

09. P.C.C work

 PCC work will be started after excavation work.


 Concrete will be mix in the mixer machine that will be inspected and
tagged from orient team.
 Concrete material will be stacked at designated area and properly
barricade.
 Concrete will be shifted to site in wheel barrows manually.
 Worker will wear safety glasses, gum shoes with steel toe, rubber gloves
and mask while handling and shifting of concrete.
 MSDS and chemical approval form will be available at site.

10. Concrete Work for Foundation

a. Concrete work will be done manually.


b. Concrete will be shifted on site in wheel barrows.
c. Brick ballast to be laid and compaction to be done with compacter
d. Concrete will be mix in the mixer machine that will be inspected and tagged
from orient team.
e. Rebar’s will be cut on site and laid in concrete as per requirement.
f. Concrete raw material (Crush, sand & cement) will be stacked at designated
area and properly barricade.
g. Concrete will be shifted to site in wheel barrows manually Worker will wear
safety glasses, gum shoes with steel toe, rubber gloves and mask while
handling of concrete.
h. Water bowser for all civil work will be at site.

11. Brick Work

A. Brick work will be done after plinth beam & column installation
B. The quality of bricks to be used in masonry construction should be of standard
specifications (good brick earth, thoroughly burnt and deep cherry red or
copper in color).
C. Bricks are shifted at site with the help of tractor trolley.
D. Mortar should be of the specified grade and materials used for mortar should
be of standard specifications.
E. Necessary and suitable scaffolding should be provided to facilitate the
construction of a brick wall
F. All workers will follow the covid.19 protocols.
G. Social distancing will be maintained.

12. Scaffolding erection, dismantling & modification


a) Scaffolding will be erected and dismantled by a 3 rd party certified scaffolder
while wearing a 3rd party certified safety harness belt.
b) Scaffolding will be used by workers after being tagged green by the client’s
EHS Supervisor
c) All hand tools to be tie with hand.
d) M/Scaffolding will be erected alongside of wall in order to minimize the
hazards of falling material or object or man.
e) Modifications to be done in erected scaffolding as per condition and then re-
inspected from Client EHS
f) After completion of job scaffolding will be dismantled and all the material will
be removed from site
g) Red tag will be displayed during dismantling.

13. Plaster Work


A. The plaster is manufactured as a dry powder and is mixed with water to form
a stiff but workable paste immediately before it is applied to the surface. The
reaction with water liberates heat through crystallization and the
hydrated plaster then hardens.
B. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is another health and safety basic
for plasterers. Those specific to plasterers include odor masks, ladder safe
shoes & protective eyewear.
C. PPE is imperative in the plastering and is used to prevent many high-risk
hazards that occur in the plastering industry.
D. After completion of concrete work, plaster work will be performed
E. MSDS and chemical approval form will be available at site.
F. Proper PPEs will be used.

14. Instillation of gypsum board ceiling


 The position and safety of cladding wall is determined to control wall for fixing
and marked with pencil.
 The length of cladding wall is determined by measuring tape.
 The appropriate staples selected according to the distance between the
cladding wall.
 Electrical and plumbing work should be done before installation of gypsum
ceiling.
 Fixing the gypsum boards is done the u and c profile along the edges of board
with screw.
Coating and finishing the surface of gypsum ceiling done for smooth finish.

15. Termite proofing (floor and wall)

A. Providing and carrying out termite proofing under and all sides of
foundations and over 1:4:8 floor concrete layer or prior to laying of 1:2:4
concrete floor, using BIFLEX - FMC (U.S.A.) or AGENDA 25EC
manufactured by Bayer with a pressure ensuring at least 3" penetration in
the soil of the area to be treated. The Contractor will provide a guarantee for
a period of fifteen years against infestation of termite in the shape and mode
approved by the Consultant stating that incase of infestation, additional
treatment will be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to the Owner as
per specifications and/or as directed and approved by the Engineer.

B. Termite proofing coat will be applied at boundary wall


C. MSDS and chemical approval form will be on site
D. Providing and laying 3 coats of WEATHER SHIELD paint from Berger / ICI
of required color and shade job includes preparation of the base by rubbing
the surface with carborundum stone filling the designs with putty, cutting the
surface and rubbing smooth finally with sand paper complete as per
specifications and directions of the site engineer.

16. Tile work


A. New tiles will be fixed on floor and walls.
B. While for wall tiles up to 6 feet, worker will stand on the ground and fix the tiles
with bond.
C. Above 6 feet, worker will use inspected scaffolding to fix tiles.
D. After fixing and filling gaps of wall tiles, scaffolding will be removed as
mentioned in POINT 05.
E. After removal of scaffolding material from plenum plant, floor tiles will be fixed
and gaps to be filled with grout.
F. Tile bond will be prepared outside plenum plant.
G. Tiles will be cut manually with tile cutter and by using grinder.
H. Tile cutting activity by using grinder will be done outside plenum plant.
I. Fire extinguisher will be available at site during hot work.
J. Mason will apply bond on wall, floor and tile using trowel and mallet will be
used to proper fit the tiles.
K. After tiles installation, tile gap will be filled using tile grout.
L. Material will be shifted through rope and bucket at height.
M. Bucket will be properly tied.
N. EHS & site supervisor will ensure that no worker will be working underneath
scaffolding during work at height.
O. Worker will wear 3rd party inspected safety harness for work at height.
P. MSDS and chemical approval form will be available at site.
17.Wood Work

 All required material will be making outside factory will be installed at desired
point according to drawing
 Aluminum door, window, roller blinds with channel of approved shade and
color will be fixed by competent worker

18.Paint work

A. After plaster work, Paint work on walls will be done.


B. Paint brush and roller will be used.
C. Polythene / sheet will be placed on the side of wall.
D. Worker will use scraper, emery paper on wall to smoothen the surface.
E. Paint will be mixed by using rubber gloves
F. MSDS & chemical approval form will be available at site.
G. After paint work, Housekeeping will be done.
H. All chemical of paint will be placed at spill tray at and while using
I. KN-95 mask will be provided to all painter while using paint
J. Stepp ladder will be used to work at height
K. Paint will be mixed with the help of stick in empty bucket
L. Wall Patti paint will be used after scraping the old plaster and paint
M. Thinner will be used for housekeeping of old drop of paint.

19.Electrical work (wiring, boards, lighting.)


A. Electrical work will be done as per requirements
B. Wiring of all electrical appliance will be done according to drawing
C. wiring of lights from switch to point
D. wiring of other lights from point to point
E. supply, connection, testing of all distribution board

20.Plumbing work

F. Mixer, wash room accessories, multi floor tarp with S.S floor drain

21.Night activity
a) Use proper lighting for best visibility
b) Prevent noise and vibration when possible
c) Make sure workers get proper rest take a way for your construction night your
plan
d) No work will be done lonely
e) Reflective jacket will be provided to workers

23.Material de mobilization and Housekeeping


a. Waste will be removed from working area to outside of factory on wheel
barrow or 4-wheel trolleys.
b. Material will de mobilizes from site to store.
c. After completion of all activity, we will perform the housekeeping and remove
the barricading from area and work permit will be closed.
