About Chittam : Chittam is a young and growing organization that aims to be the
Cultural BFF of the next generation. Chittam seeks to take Indian culture to today’s
children in exciting and innovative ways. We design and manufacture board games
and card games based on Indian culture, philosophy, and spirituality.

Job Description: Chittam seeks a creative and organized professional to serve as

eCommerce Marketing Specialist. This role will support the organization’s Business Head
by creating game concepts that advance our goal to be a true Indian Cultural
Companion. As the business team builds in-house capacity, we are seeking candidates
who value collaboration, creative solutions, and teamwork. The role is 100% remote, with
travel to Chennai, TN twice a year.

We are looking for someone with a passion for all genres of games and Indian culture,
an understanding of the industry, market, and target audiences. The specialist will be an
individual contributor initially with an ability to grow the team soon. Their responsibilities
also include ensuring quality, and meeting with company executives.

Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

▪ Develop, monitor, write and update product content contained on

eCommerce websites/portals.
▪ Develop subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and take
ownership of daily business administration on assigned accounts.
▪ Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for content creation,
distribution, maintenance, and new product listings.
▪ Work with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant
departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared
across eCommerce platforms.
▪ Possess a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best
practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory and/or pre-orders.
▪ Multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while
maintaining attention to detail.
▪ Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive
strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research,
usability best practices, and industry trends.

▪ Use Spreadsheets or Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc) in addition to web

analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify
opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with eCommerce platforms

• Outstanding organizational skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects
and operational responsibilities simultaneously
• Outstanding analytic skill sets
• Strong customer orientation
• Knowledgeable about game and toy industry
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s degree
