Designing an experiment

Descriptive statistics - measures of central tendancy (mean, median, mode)

- measures of dispersion (standard deviation and range)

Inferential stats - correlation shown at a 5% level and why it's significant

Compare the two groups and draw possible conclusions from it. Specifics about the environment/setup
that the experimenter will use.

Questionnaire to see how much coffee they drink per day, get students in 4 groups: 0 cups, 1 cup, 2 cups,
decaffeinated coffee drinkers (not common so they *may* not need to be split up). For each group, get
them to take a highly-accredited memory test and collect the data and sum them up in each group.
Compare and evaluate the data and discuss the potential implications of caffeine on memory.
