In the last meetings, we have learned about…

1. Melting process
2. Freezing process

Do you remember what is the difference between those

two processes?
Let’s look at the pictures below:

steam drying clothes rain cycle

From the pictures above, do you have any idea what kind of topic
we are going to discuss today?
Evaporation
Process
UOI Science – Grade 2
Before we continue, we are going to watch a video.
Evaporation is the
process of change
from a liquid to a gas.
There are some factors that effect evaporation:
1. temperature
2. wind
3. humidity
4. surface area
TEMPERATURE

more temperature Less temperature

more evaporation less evaporation

WIND
• When we dry our clothes, it is
faster when the wind is strong.
• The water vapor are
decreased because of the air
particles.
• The speed of the wind helps
the liquid evaporate faster.
Examples of Evaporation process:

1. Drying clothes
2. Water steam
3. Salt production

Can you name other example?

Let’s do an experiment!
Things to pay attention to:

1. Experiment materials
2. Scientific repot paper
3. Follow teacher’s instruction
