1. Choose 1 pillar for employee relations and explain its impact on the workplace.
Answer:
Open communication must always be observed in the organization for clear and
transparent employer-employee relationships. It gives smooth and harmonious relationships and
gives impacts in terms of a warm environment inside the organizations.
2. Choose your most preferred approach to discipline and explain your reason.
Answer:
I will choose the Positive/Corrective Discipline where the employer and employees are
working together to solve the problem and make the mistakes to be corrected and help them
learn from them in the future what should be the remedy.
3. Give a sample situation that will explain how the disciplinary process takes place.
Answer:
Informal talk- talk about the problem and how and why it happens.
Verbal warning- taking or giving a verbal warning to ensure what’re the consequences of
their bad actions.
Verbal reprimand- verbal conversations where they discussed the situation and how
they will solve the problem with corrective actions with documentation.
Written reprimand- written incidents and explanations are documented for further
investigation or written formal warning.
Suspension and demotion and dismissal- objectives of disciplinary action is positive
where to get positive where the future of the employee is the primary goal and to maintain the
smooth flow of effective programs and standards of the organization.
