1.1 Waste Stream Identification

During all phases of the project, different kind of wastes will be generated on site,
laydown areas, workshops and camps. The project shall characterize all waste
streams and types at the beginning of the project and classify it accordingly into
non-hazardous and hazardous waste. Example waste streams and types are shown
in the table below:

The table below shows a list (not exhaustive) of construction wastes generated at the Project, its
classification and preferred disposal method. This list shall not be considered comprehensive, but
rather forms the basis for further identification of waste types. It shall be updated by the project,
identifying the latest local government guideline.
