Explain that they will be creating an informative table to learn more about these diseases.
Understanding Contagious Diseases:
Clarify the concept of contagious diseases as those that spread from person to person.
Emphasize the importance of understanding how these diseases are transmitted and how to protect oneself (consult
relevant subject teacher for the assistance).
Conducting Online Research:
Guide students through accessing the monitored online environment for research.
Distribute online worksheet with evaluation criteria for credible sources.
Encourage students to focus on finding reliable information about contagious diseases.
Creating the Informative Table:
Instruct students to open Microsoft Word and create a new document.
Provide guidelines for creating a table with four columns: Disease Name, Transmission, Protection, and Picture.
Guide students to search for information on contagious diseases, focusing on transmission methods and protection
measures.
Instruct them to paraphrase information and add their own words to the table.
Encourage citing sources by adding links to the Reference section for each disease.
