1. Where do you find the assignments, instructions for assignments, and grading rubrics for
each assignment?

Ans: First you have to sign in on Office365. In Moodle, select the course from “My Course” (right-
hand side) then it will take you to more details of the course. On that page, we will show the
“Activities tab”, under this tab we will show the Assignment tab. After clicking on the assignment-
tab we will get assignment details such as the due date of the assignment and upcoming
assignment also, we can check our assignment grade after submission. Apart from this if we want
to check specific course grades then click on the profile icon which is located in the top right-
hand side corner on that we can see the grade option simply click on grade and we will get a
grade for the specific course.

2. Where do you check reminders and important information from your instructor throughout
the week?

Ans: We can check reminders and important information from our instructor throughout the
week by clicking on the specific course. We can easily find Important announcements under the
Course Forums tab.

3. What information do you find in the Course Syllabus?

Ans: In the course Syllabus we can find details about:

a. Introduction of Course
b. Professor Bio
c. Course Learning Outcomes
d. Required Materials
e. Graded Assignment
f. School-Wide Policies

4. Where do you find Readings and Materials for the course? What are Unit 1 Readings and
Materials?

Ans: We can find the required materials for the course under Unit 1: Activities.

5. How are your assignments graded? Give an example.

Ans: (Algoma University, n.d.)Submissions must be presented in the manner requested for each
particular assignment. Each submitted assignment has its own rubric depending on the
assignment’s goals and objective. After being submitted, assignments will be graded by the
professor and returned to the student with feedback. Student evidence of having relatively
demonstrated or mastered these criteria will be assessed and graded. For example, during Unit
3.2, Students will be assigned groups in this unit by the instructor. They will work in these groups
to complete the “Group” Learning Activities, as well as the Group Project. Each group will form a
Team in MS Teams to use for communication and meetings when completing all group work,
which will carry 2.5% of the final grade.

6. When is your Unit 3: LA 3.1 - Simulation (Group) due? How can you submit it?

Ans: This is a group learning activity for students. Students need to communicate with each
other by making a group in Microsoft Teams. Make a Timetable and post that will be suitable for
everyone as it’s a group activity so every student on the team will have to present, then Students
shall demonstrate in a hypothetical workplace. Download the pdf and upload it on Moodle.

7. How can you use Arthur A. Wishart Library?

Ans: I have no Idea regarding Arthur A. Wishart Library.

8. Where do you find your classmates’ emails?

Ans: We can find our classmates’ emails under Microsoft Office.

9. If you need to discuss with your instructor an assignment, what do you do?

Ans: If I need to discuss my assignment with the respective course then firstly, I will make an
appointment with the respective course teacher through the link which is provided in Moodle
under the title of Your Professor.

10. There is a technical problem with your course – the web page won’t open. Who do you
contact?

Ans: If I face any technical problem with my course, I will contact Algoma Support which is
located on Moodle's top right-hand side, and submit my problem or create the tickets for
solution.
