Education pertains to the transmission of knowledge from one end to another.

It involves two-way
communication where teacher is the source of knowledge while, the student is a recipient and
expected to give feedback on the standard of education. To ensure good quality education, it needs
to be ensured that teachers are well-trained in their work to effectively communicate and cater the
requirements of students. In this paper, I will analyze the subject of teacher training with respect to
provincial sector plans across Pakistan. The aim is to identify what steps provinces are planning to
take for the development of teachers and what changes can be incorporated to elevate the current
standard.

The Punjab sector plan is similar to that of Sindh. It presses on the training of good quality teachers who can nourish a good student output. The aim is to

technology has been a missing subject from the teacher training discourse and must be incorporated considering the current status of the world. Pakistan is
definitely on the right track, it just needs to gather speed and demonstrate institutional uniformity to garner a generation of teachers and students worthy
of global recognition
