18 Interi King County Prosecuting Attorney, by and through Stephen Hobbs, Senior Deputy
19 Prosecuting Attorney, hereby challenges the voter registrations in the names on the attached list
20 and seeks to have the names associated with these voter identification numbers removed from the
21 statewide voter registration database. The Prosecuting Attorney is challenging these names on
22 the grounds that these registrations were fraudulently created and that the individuals listed in the
23 attached list did not complete the voter registration forms submitted in their name. The
2 this fraudulent activity, nor did they have any knowledge that it was taing place. This challenge
3 is based upon the attached declaration and the evidence that will be presented at the voter

DECLARTION

Under penalty of perjur under the laws of the state of Washington, the undersigned

hereby declares as follows:

1. I am over the age of 18 years and am competent to testify as to the matters set
14
fort herein in that they are based upon facts either within my personal knowledge or apparent
15
fröm the record.

2. I am a senior deputy prosecuting attorney for King County, Washington and make

this declaration in support of the previous Notice of Voter Registration Challenge.

3. I have been responsible on behalf of the King County Prosecuting Attorney for
19
King County's role in ajoint federal and county investigation into the validity of
20 voter
registrations submitted to King County by the Association of Communty Organizations for
21
Reform Now ("ACORN") durng the 2006 election cycle.

2 registrations under the names and voter identification numbers on the attached list were
3 fraudulently created by employees of ACORN. The individuals whose names were used on the
4 fraudulent registration forms did not paricipate in this fraudulent activity, nor did they have any
6 5. It has fuer been established that no votes were cast under any of the voter
8 6. A voter registration challenge hearing before the King County Canvassing Board
9 has been set for Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 9:00 in the Rainer room on the 5th Floor ofthe King
10 County Courhouse, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle, W A 98104. The purose ofthis hearng is to
11 remove the names on the attached list from the statewide voter registration list.
