He was an English romantic poet who , with Samuel
Taylor Coleridge , helped to launch the romantic age in
English literature .
Wordsworth is best known for lyrical ballads .
He was born on April 7 , 1770 in Cocker mouth ,
Cumberland , located in the lake district of England
Wordsworth was called by Shelly “Poet of nature”.
He held a firm faith that nature could enlighten the
kindheartedness and universal brotherhood of human
being, and only existing in harmony with nature where
man could get true happiness.
“Tintern Abbey” is William Wordsworth’s most famous
poems, published in 1798.
