Objectives of the experiment

Today's culture places a great deal of importance on laboratory experiments. It imparts fresh
information and teaches students the value of experimentation. Thus, the purpose of the Bunsen burner
experiment is to let the members of the group experience on how to control the flame and distinguish a
luminous and non-luminous flame of the Bunsen burner, and Deals with a compressive tool of
laboratory in the field of experimentalism. The purpose of this experiment is to collect data on how
differently luminous and non-luminous flames behave when attempting to boil water. It also tests the
members of the group's abilities and skills to properly perform the experiment. Also the experiment will
teach the group, the important of fallowing the steps to operate the Bunsen burner. Moreover, it makes
the group to be fully aware and take good care of the laboratory equipment’s and tools. This experiment
will also provide fresh information regarding laboratory equipment, the chance to instruct group
members in the proper use of laboratory equipment, and a deeper understanding of the circumstances
under which particular laboratory equipment should be used. It also provides opportunities to develop
the groups teamwork and collaboration as well as their observation skills and techniques to measure a
rightful measurement needed for the experiment.
