Introduction: The vector is used to plot C: (6,7)
different points using coordinates in a
Cartesian plane. For this, different (5+8+6) i+ (3+4+7) j
calculations must be made depending on Results: 19 i + 14 j
the sign and whether each point is
required to be joined. Example Subtraction A-B-C

Objective: understand and identify the (5i+3j) – (8i+4j) – (6i+7j)

operations: addition, subtraction and (5-6-8) i + (3-4-7) j
product (dot, cross). (5-14) + (3-11)

Background: Vector
What is a vector?
In physics, a vector is called a line Example Subtraction B-A+C
segment in space that starts from one
point to another, that is, it has direction (8-5) i - (4-3) j+ (6i – 7j)
and meaning. Vectors in physics have the 8i-5i-4j+3j+6i-7j
function of expressing the so-called (8-5+6) i + (-4+3-7) j
vector magnitudes. Results: 9i , 8j

The term vector comes from the Latin The calculations were made and the

Conclusions: I find this practice useful to

be able to graph coordinates that were
previously calculated either for any
educational or professional purpose.

Abstrac: In practice, calculations were

made with coordinates of different values
to be able to graph three different vectors,
the addition one and two subtraction
vectors.
