Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with shear stress transport turbulence model are discretized by finite volume approximations and solved on hexahedral grids for flow analyses. Two objectives, i.e, isentropic efficiency and total pressure ratio are selected with four design variables defining impeller hub and shroud contours in meridional ‘contours to optimize the system, Non-dominated Sorting of Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-Il) with © constraint strategy for local search coupled with Radial Basis Neural Network model is used for multi-objective optimization. The optimization results show that isentropic efficiencies and total pressure ratios of the five cluster points at the Pareto-optimal solutions are enhanced by multi-objective ‘optimization, Buia] sada Bal A, des] das LA ae ude dH tao Bde) ade AQBS Woe she +a Hye dee a4 | +e] ohd Adda] FGOe= ARE = MA SV. ols BE AAMAS 7) 28 he FARRIS Ab} See A 1422 28 + Us, 77) oe Basso] S8e ut Bae ase + Ade Ball AEA SAA AA HF Hea AS Az ad. + shat Te 7st E-mail : jinhyuk@inha.edu ‘TEL : (032)860-7317 FAX : (032)868-1716 aadad waders lshutiat deal 7ld-zeap eee catalan ABE * Ade Adavt oh, 4S SATS E Me ASSATT ARs] Ge art s 2 APA a} AA a arp o}2}g ASSaee BASS FE aoe del 73] AaAsvss UneySo] Yeu] awace SSAtT JAAR PANS Bae-3] yah (Parato-optimal solutions) °]-%!
