Q: Create a poster putting across the view that junk food shouldn’t be
banned from school canteens. If you want people to listen to your
point of view, you need to back your ideas up with evidence. You must
explain your point of view clearly, carefully and fully. Try researching
about food.
Title: A balanced approach to school canteens
Introduction:
Junk food has been a subject of debate when it comes to school
canteens. While many argue for a complete ban, we propose a
balanced approach that allows for choice and education. We believe
that banning junk food entirely might not be the most effective
solution .instead we advocate for creating an environment that
promotes healthy eating habits while still providing a variety of food
options for students
1. Promoting Education:
Rather than banning junk food outright, we propose introducing
educational programs to raise awareness about the importance of
balanced nutrition .By educating students about making healthier food
choices .We empower than to make informed decisions about their diet.
2: Encouraging Moderation:
Completely banning junk food may lead to students seeking unhealthy
alternative outside the school premises. Encouraging Moderation in the
consumption of junk food allows student to enjoy their favorite treats
occasionally, while still maintaining a healthy overall diet.
3: Supporting Local food vendors:
Many local food vendors depend on selling snacks and treats to
students. Banning junk food could have severe economic implication for
these business. Instead, we can work with local vendors to offer
healthier versions of popular snacks.
4: Creating a balanced canteen menu:
We propose a canteen menu that combines healthy choices and
favorite treats. A well curated menu can include freshly prepared
sandwiches, salads, fruits, and a limited selection of healthier versions
of popular junk food items .The approach give students the freedom to
choose what they prefer while ensuing healthier alternatives are readily
available.

Conclusion:
Our approach aims to create an environment that supports student's
'well -being while promoting healthy eating habits. By providing
education, encouraging moderation, supporting local vendors, and
offering a balanced canteen menu, we believe we can strike a balance
that benefits both student and local businesses. Let us work together to
embrace choice and empower our students to make informed decisions
about their food choices.
