Requirements for Trademark Registration

1. Proposed Trade Mark name for name search approval.

2. Proposed Art Work and Trade mark description. In soft and hard copy.
3. Names of the applicant in Full.
4. Postal address for the Applicant.
5. Proposed Physical address of the Applicants. Address includes road, plot number, town,
Country.
6. Copy of Registration certificates where applicants is a Business.

Steps

1. Trademark name search- A form will be prepared and sent to the client for signature. The form
will then be submitted to have the name reserved.
2. Trade mark pre-regstritation- After the name has been approved, an application will be
submitted for consideration together with agent appointement form.
3. Trade mark examination
4. Trademark advertisement
5. Trademark registration approval (will take 60 days from the day of publication of advertisement)
