Remove one bolt from the spreader angles on the rear of the frame and place the complete snow plow on a level surface. Drive the tractor over the frame of the snow plow. Using the spreader angles for leverage pull the frame angles together and slip the rear of the frame over the tractor trunnions. Press the spreader angles together and insert the bolt to lock the rear of the frame to the trunnions. Attach the rock shaft links to the drawbar by inserting the power lift pin. With the Touch-o-matic control lever in the down position and the drawbar lowered, place the lift bracket over the tractor pivot shaft ahead of the front axle and connect the lift strap. Detaching the Snow Plow. To detach, simply reverse the procedure, ‘The ease of attaching and detaching the snow plow makes the tractor available for any other job in a very short time. CAUTION: Leave all adjustments in the same position as set up at the factory. Any change in adjustment will cause undue strain on the working parts and complete satisfaction will not be obtained. TOUCH-O-MATIC CONTROLLED ‘The snow plow blade can be easily raised or lowered by the simple movement of the Touch-o-matic control lever. The blade may be stopped ‘at any desired level between full transport and lowered position to give the most efficient and satisfactory service. BLADE ANGLE ‘The blade can be angled quickly and easily to the right or left, or may be left straight. Pull the front blade pin, pivot the blade to the left to the desired angle, and drop the pin in place. The blade will cut a ath 60 inches wide when in the straight position and 54 inches wide ‘when fully angled to the right or left. SPRING SAFETY DEVICE A heavy spring trip is built into the snow plow blade so that when an unseen obstruction is encountered, the blade trips forward, passes over it, and immediately returns to the working position by means of the spring tension. SUGGESTED USES In addition to the conventional uses of the snow plow such as cleaning parking lots, sidewalks, gas stations, skating rinks, driveways, etc., the snow plow may be used the year around for odd jobs like cleaning barn floors, pushing manure into a pile, leveling cinders‘or sand, light bulldozer or grading work, and many other uses.
