Topic: Nowadays, the gap between countryside and cities has increased in many countries.

What can
governments do to reserve this?

At the moment, many countries have the same problem to diminish the discrepancy between rural
areas and cities. The gap occurs because many people migrate from suburban to the city with the
result that the welfare of the villagers decrease and incline the city population density. It will trigger
rising of criminal rate, spreading of slum area, increasing of poverty rate, and more complicated
problems in the urban area. The next question, why people prefer to move into the city? City offer
many conveniences and affordable public facilities in many ways, such as: various job opportunities,
higher income, ease of accessibility, many alternative public transportation. Moreover, we can locate
many public facilities for health and education.

Facing this problem, government must act to minimalize the gap by identifying the limitations from
the rural area in order to develop the needs. First people tend to transmigrate to the city because
there are no adequate public health and education centres. Here, government needs to build more
facilities.

Second, infrastructures play important roles to improve public accessibility and welfare. For example,
water resource will reduce the amount of stunting or availability of road will lower the groceries
prices. Therefore, government should invest greatly amount funds to develop public infrastructures
in the suburban area.

Then, government needs to figure out the way to attract private sectors expanding their factories,
such as: providing some incentives, facilitating easier business licensing, ensuring the availability of
legitimate land, developing water supply installation and accessibility. If the private sectors get more
benefits, they will approve to construct their factories there. If it happens, it will enhance
employment opportunities in the countryside.

To sum up, I believe that government should take some actions to close the gap between rural and
urban areas.

At the moment, many countries have the same problem goal to diminish the discrepancy between
their rural areas and their big cities. The gap occurs because many people migrate from suburban to
the city with the result that the welfare of the villagers decrease and incline the city population
density. It will trigger rising of criminal rate, spreading of slum area, increasing of poverty rate, and
more complicated problems in the urban area (soal tidak bertanya alasan disparitas ini terjadi). The
next question, why people prefer to move into the city? City offer many conveniences and affordable
public facilities in many ways, such as: various job opportunities, higher income, ease of accessibility,
many alternative public transportation. Moreover, we can locate many public facilities for health and
education.

Here I try to elaborate the specific and measurable solutions to close the gap.
Facing this problem, government must act to minimalize the gap by identifying the limitations from
the rural area in order to develop the needs. First people tend to transmigrate to the city because
there are no adequate public health and education centres. Here, government needs to build more
facilities. It is mainly the government jobs, collaboratively between executive and legislative, to
provide basic infrastructures for their people.

To sum up, I believe that government should take some actions to close the gap between rural and
urban areas (terlalu general). To sum up, I believe that the government can start by providing the
basic facilities and attract private sectors to become involved in the rural investment. By doing so, the
disparity gap between cities and rural areas can be closed in the future.
