1. The summary of article identity model

In general, children really like sweet foods, especially chocolate, candy and
sweet cakes, but it is a shame that children's awareness of always maintaining
oral hygiene is still lacking. Therefore, dental caries is often found in school-
aged children. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between
consuming sweet foods and the incidence of caries in elementary school-aged
children. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, and the type of
research used is a literature study. The results of the literature study show that
there is a significant relationship between consuming sweet foods and the
incidence of caries. It can be concluded that students who have a high level of
consumption of sweet foods will have a high risk of developing tooth decay,
while students who have a low consumption of sweet foods will have a low risk
of caries.

2a. The critical analysis

This article raises a title that often occurs in the real world and the aim of this
article is to carry out prevention and research on children regarding the
dangers of consuming excessive sweet foods on the health of their teeth and
mouth

b. the strenght of writing work

In this journal/article, it has advantages in terms of detailed discussion and

results. In one of the discussions, it states "Dental caries is a disease that
attacks many children and adults, both in milk teeth and permanent teeth.
Dental caries is a destructive infectious disease. tooth structure, this disease
causes cavities, causes pain, sleep disturbances, tooth loss, infection, various
dangerous cases and even death." This is very true and in my view it is one of
the factors of dental disease suffered by young children due to consuming too
much sweet food or sugar.

c. the weekness of article

The weakness in this article is that there is no solution or direct action or
simple action that can be taken by the child to prevent caries from occurring
and causing other diseases of the mouth and teeth. In this article only advice is
given to parents, teachers and health workers by doing just socialize
d. the solution of articel

The solution for this article is perhaps to add several diseases, not just dental
caries because there are several dental and oral diseases which are also caused
by children consuming too much sweet food.

3.Conclusion

Based on several studies have been studied and analyzed to reach conclusions
that students who have a level of consumption Highly sweet foods will have a
high risk for the occurrence of dental caries, while students those with low
consumption of sweet foods will has a low risk of occurrence caries. Thus it
can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the habit of
consuming sweet foods with caries incidence rate in elementary school
children.
