ANDROID vs. MAC OS
Android by Google and iOS by Apple are mobile operating systems
that are primarily used in smartphones and tablets. Android is more PC-like
than iOS in that its interface and basic features are more customizable from
the ground up. It is based on Linux and is partially open source. However,
iOS's consistent design elements are sometimes perceived as more user-
friendly.
When choosing your smartphone and tablet operating systems, keep in
mind that switching from iOS to Android or vice versa will necessitate
purchasing apps from the Google Play or Apple App Store again. Android is
now the most popular smartphone platform in the world, with many different
phone manufacturers utilizing it. iOS is only available on Apple devices such
as the iPhone.
There are various pros and cons between Android and iOS. The
primary distinction between Android and iOS is that Android is developed and
owned by Google. Apple, on the other hand, owns and develops iOS.
Furthermore, Android is open-source software that anyone can download for
free, whereas iOS is proprietary software that users cannot download for free.
HISTORY
Android was created with the intention of improving the operating
systems of digital cameras. Google acquired Android in 2005 and continued
to develop the operating system under its new ownership. Andy Rubin left
Google's Android team in 2013 to start an incubator before returning to the
smartphone industry with Essential.
Android is an operating system for mobile phones and tablet
computers. In 2003, the American technology firm Android Inc. launched a
project to create an operating system for digital cameras called Android. The
project evolved into a smartphone operating system in 2004. Google Inc., an
American search engine company, purchased Android Inc. in 2005. Google's
Android team chose to base their project on Linux, an open source operating
system for personal computers.
On November 5, 2007, the consortium was formed to develop and
promote Android as a free open source operating system with support for
third-party applications. Wireless networks are required for Android-based
devices to fully utilize features such as one-touch Google searches, Google
Docs, and Google Maps.

iOS has progressed significantly.

The first iPhone represented a quantum leap forward from the primordial soup
of Blackberries and LG Pradas. While some companies came incredibly close
to designing the modern smartphone, it took Steve Jobs' drive and ambition to
create something completely unique.

The first true smartphone was the iPhone. Some may object to this
statement, but the interface of the iconic device serves as the foundation for
all modern smartphones. Android began as a Blackberry clone and quickly
evolved into an iPhone clone. Android has evolved away from iOS over time,
but the two operating systems are now convergent as both companies mimic
each other.
FEATURES
The Android operating system is widely used on various mobile
platforms around the world. By the end of 2020, it will have approximately
75% of the global market share. Because of its numerous features, the first
Android device was released in the market and quickly became the market
leader in the mobile industry.
Android is a powerful operating system that supports a wide range of
Smartphone applications. These applications are more user-friendly and
advanced. The ARM architecture platform underpins the hardware that
supports Android software. Android is an open-source operating system,
which means that it is free to use. Android has millions of apps available that
can help you manage your life in one way or another, and it is inexpensive in
the market, so it is very popular.
macOS is the operating system that runs on all Macs. It allows you to
do things that other computers simply cannot. That's because it's tailored to
the hardware it runs on and vice versa. macOS includes a plethora of
beautifully designed apps. It works in tandem with iCloud to keep your photos,
documents, and other files up to date across all of your devices. It magically
connects your Mac to your iPhone and other Apple devices. It was also
designed from the ground up with privacy and security in mind.
On a Mac, everything is designed to work just the way you expect it to
from operating it with simple, intuitive gestures to asking Siri to find a file to
having your apps automatically update themselves. Whatever you set out to
do on a Mac, there’s much less to learn and that much more to accomplish.
HARDWARE
Android devices include a variety of hardware that is both built in and
accessible to developers. Most devices include sensors such as a camera,
accelerometer, magnetometer, pressure sensor, temperature sensor, and
proximity sensor. Telephony, Bluetooth, and other wireless connections are
also available in some form to the developer. This chapter demonstrates how
to use these hardware Application Programming Interfaces (API) to improve
the user experience of an application. It should be noted that these recipes
are best executed on real Android devices because emulators may not
provide accurate or realistic behavior of hardware interfaces.

MacOS is the operating system (OS) for Apple desktops and laptop
computers. It is a proprietary graphical operating system that powers every
Mac. OSes interact with a computer's hardware, allocating the resources
required to complete tasks assigned to them, such as running an application.
Operating systems allocate resources such as memory, processing power,
and file storage. Because the OS is optimized for the specific hardware,
MacOS performance is generally quick and responsive. Every year or so,
Apple releases a new version of macOS. MacOS was released in 1984 to run
Macintosh computers (PCs). The operating system aided in the popularity of
graphical user interfaces (GUIs), even inspiring Microsoft to abandon its user
input method in favor of using GUIs for Windows OSes.

LICENSING
Apache 2.0 is a software license that is both commercial and open
source. The Apache 2.0 license governs the majority of the Android platform
and documentation. While the project makes every effort to follow the
preferred license, there may be exceptions, such as documentation (code
comments) extracted from a source code module licensed under GPLv2 or
another license. In such cases, the license that applies to the source code
module will also apply to the documentation derived from it.
Third-party components of this site such as JavaScript libraries are
included in the Android Open Source Project under the licenses specified by
their authors. For information about these licenses, refer to the source files in
the Android Open Source Project.
When it comes to operating systems, there are a few different options
available on the market. Windows and Linux are two of the most popular
choices, but there is also Apple’s Mac OS. While Mac OS is a great option for
many users, there is one key question that must be answered before using it:
does Mac OS have a license? The answer to this question is a bit
complicated. Unlike Windows and Linux, which are both free and open source
software, Mac OS is a proprietary system. This means that it is not available
for free and users must purchase a license in order to use it. However, there
are a few different ways to obtain a Mac OS license. The first way is to
purchase a new Mac computer. Every Mac computer comes with a pre-
installed copy of Mac OS. This means that users who purchase a new Mac do
not need to worry about obtaining a separate license for the operating system.
The second way to obtain a Mac OS license is to purchase a used Mac
computer. Used Mac computers typically come with a version of Mac OS that
is no longer supported by Apple. This means that users must purchase a new
license in order to continue using the operating system. The third way to
obtain a Mac OS license is to purchase a copy of the operating system from a
third-party retailer. There are a few different retailers that sell Mac OS
licenses, but it is important to make sure that the retailer is reputable before
making a purchase. No matter which method you choose, obtaining a Mac OS
license is the only way to legally use the operating system.

MARKETING
Android has such a broad reach and caters to the needs of every segment of
society through the apps developed on its platform, it employs a combination
of demographic, psychographic, and geographic variables. It employs a
Differentiated targeting strategy to differentiate the distinctive features and
offerings through various updates or versions. It employs a user benefit-based
positioning strategy to highlight the advantages and experiences it provides to
users.
A

Apple uses a variety of marketing techniques to create an

unforgettable experience for its customers. They do not reveal much about
the new product specifications and build anticipation. Instead of attracting new
customers, Apple focuses on retaining existing, loyal customers by providing
them with amazing customer service.
Apple follows a number of strategic plans that provides them with a
competitive advantage. The company understands its customers' needs and
incorporates them into every one of its new products. Apple uses very
appealing visuals to attract and retain its loyal customers. They are not afraid
to price their products based on their value.
