Technical Comments
1) Expander and reducer are not KOSO scope of supply.
2) Valve external body/actuator shall be painted as per QP-SPC-L002 Standard.
3) Stroke Time: <30 Seconds.
4) The Opening in condition 4 is very low since the flow for this condition is very low i.e. 240Kg/hr please review and confirm.
5) RT required on Critical Area .
6) Minimum flow value 240Kg/hr as per the process condition is to be non controllable since flow value is very less.

d) Valve Opening : Case 2B d) Since the flow rate is less , the valve opening for this case is mere 3% which is not controllable & below
e) Case 2B recommendable limit. This may cause hunting to the valve if the valve operates on this case & may damage the trim
parts. Customer to re‐check the process flow rate for this case & confirm.
e) Minimum flow value 240Kg/hr as per the process condition is to be non controllable since flow value is very less.

Since offered Valve design is proven design & the Cv offered are published Cv's , so please waive off this requirement. As
off now KOSO has not considered the Cv testing (Capacity Test). Though if you still insists on same, we shall perform the

same at our facility. Kindly confirm. KOSO has provided the mandatory test applicable as mentioned in the DEP standard.
Supplymentary test are not considered.

SMART HART Type with inbuilt Position Feedback.
b) AFR : KOSO Make , Manual drain Type of SS MOC Body

d) Tubings & Fittings shall be of SS.

f) Orientation of Actuator : We shall revert on this once the technical is finalised . We are checking internally with the
design team on that. We shall revert on the feasibility.
