1. Provide learning environments that are safe, secure, fair, and supportive in order to promote learner
responsibility and achievement. Establish learning environments that are responsive to learner diversity.
They respect learners’ diverse characteristics and experiences as inputs to the planning and design of
learning opportunities.

Intervention: Establish learning environments that are responsive to learner and school-community
partnerships aimed at enriching the learning environment, as well as the community’s engagement in the
educative process.

2. To stimulate creative and original thinking by having students look at their knowledge from a
new perspective.

Intervention: Stimulate creative and original thinking by having students look at their knowledge
from a new perspective.

3. Plan and organize teaching learning strategies to apply my expertise in my subject matter and
to integrate my content knowledge of other learning areas.

Intervention; Presenting a new lesson in the context of the learners’ real-life experience allows
the teacher to establish meaningful connections across curriculum content.

4. Introduce a range of teaching strategies that promote literacy and numeracy and how
becoming literate and numerate expands the learners’ opportunities to access wider
understandings.

Intervention: Provide learners with a range of different contexts in which they can use literacy
and numeracy skills. Teachers provide literacy instruction to build a learner’s comprehension,
writing skills, and overall skills in communication.

5. Ensure that our learners are in a child-friendly, safe, and motivating environment by
establishing sets of routines and procedures in the classroom.
Manage classroom structure to engage learners, individually or in groups, in meaningful
exploration, discovery, and hands-on activities within a range of physical learning environments

6. To identify and analyze the roots of behavioral and learning difficulties of my learners and
implement strategies that are positive and non-violent to engage them in the teaching-
learning process.

Choose positive and non-violent discipline that encourages positive behavior and motivates
learners to feel good about themselves and the decisions they make.

7. Prepare learning materials that are appropriate to the lessons.

Finds some related materials pictures, and charts. Searches the Learning Resource Management
and Development System (LRMDS) portal for additional appropriate teaching and learning
resources.
