I. State the main idea presented by the speakers. Elaborate on their idea
of “love”.

The poem was about love, and their idea of love (early love) is something
instantaneous, something that you just know, someone who will have
immediate connections with and will have the same interest as you, and
someone who will be with you, and as time went by and they grew up, their
idea of love also changed, suddenly love was unrecognizable, it was
something strange, weird, and reminded us of someone else, but as things
work out, love started to feel healthy, it was quirky and full of different
perspectives and mannerism but it felt right and happy, love was accepting.
Lastly as love may leave and may arrive once again, love will call you
beautiful over and over again till the door must be left open again.

I. Describe how love “arrived” and how it was depicted.

“Love arrives exactly when love is supposed to.” Love arrived when love will
arrive, the poem of how love “arrived” was depicted in a way that feels like
something we all expect of love, it was depicted as if love was the person
instead of a deep feeling, it was depicted as the experience itself. In the
seventh grade love was depicted to be someone who was unexpected, the
type that was like an awkward experience between new beginnings. Then
love went away for years and arrived as something unfamiliar, it felt like
someone else for awhile until love grew and eventually accepted/adapted, it
was depicted by the repeated words, “You are beautiful.” in many ways, in
different times and situations, and in a way they both can reassure each
other.
II. Create a short poem, with 2 stanzas and 4 lines each, about how you
define love.

Love is a strange concept,

It is something everyone wants.
Though love is not constant,
It feels nice with their sweetly taunts.

They say that love come naturally,

It is a part of life.
That it gives us fantasy in our reality,
And eventually gives you wife.
