Video Pitch Assignment - The Grocery Hook

Is it just me or is carrying groceries all the way from the store and back to your place a hefty

trip? And then all the way up the flights of stairs to your room? Bags slipping off your arm,

having to make multiple trips, or having to buy less stuff knowing you wont be able to carry

it all… it is so annoying. The idea I am presenting to you is, The Grocery Hook, that will

save you from all this grocery hassle. My product is a very unique U shaped hook to hold the

bags of groceries, attached to a handle for your hand. I have spent days on end creating a

solution that will be stronger than just a regular plastic, so it is not just a hook that will break

after one use, or from holding 2 bags. The product will be made of cellulose acetate which is

wood pulp and cotton fibers blended together to make acetate sheets which are than engraved

with lasers and heat molded into its desired U shape. This will allow for the hook to hold up

to 120 pounds which on average is about 6 reusable bags each holding up to 20 pounds, or 12

plastic bags each holding up to 10 pounds. This will ensure youre bags are not breaking, you

are most definitely only making 1 trip, and you can buy as many groceries as you need. The

grocery hook is currently selling at $16.99 per unit and expanding throughout multiple

Walmarts in Canada. My first year of sales I made around $180,000, selling just short of

11,000 units. My second year projections are said to be close to $400,000 if I slightly exceed

at doubling my first year sales per unit. With all that being said, I am asking for $150,000 for

20% of my business. I will use this money to help with funding to create an online store to

boost my sales as well as purchase more materials to create more units in order to generate

my projected profit and more. So get your grocery hook now and avoid the grocery hassle!
