1) By the end of the lesson most pupils will be able to: introduce themselves and talk
about their hobbies.
Objectives
2) By the end of the lesson most pupils will be able to: find the meaning of the words in
dictionary.
Success Criteria/ 1) Pupils can introduce themselves and talk about their hobbies.
Can do statements 2) Pupils can find the meaning of at least 10 out of 15 words in dictionary.

LEARNING OUTLINES:

1. Pupils are given mini whiteboard for them to write their full name and their hobbies.
Pre Lesson
2. Teacher writes ‘free time’ on board and ask pupils to share what they think is free time.

3. Pupils come to the front and shows what they have written on the mini whiteboard.
4. Pupils introduce themselves and talk about their hobbies.
5. Pupils refer to textbook page 4 activity 1 and asked to check if any of their sharing
earlier is in the box.
Lesson Development 6. Pupils copy all the words into their exercise book.
7. Pupils find the meaning of the words in dictionary and write it down.

*Pupils introduce themselves and say out their hobbies in simple phrases with guidance.
*Pupils find the meaning of the words with guidance from peers or teacher.

8. Teacher discusses all the meaning of the words with pupils and ask them to memorise
Post Lesson the spelling as their homework.
