Position Summary
An ES2 Solutions Consultant is responsible for delivering a wide range of solutions engagements
within the Enterprise Solutions Delivery stream and within their individual field of expertise.
Solutions Consultants conduct advisory and delivery engagements under the line management of
the solutions delivery stream lead.
The Solutions Consultant position is a hands-on delivery role where the consultant will work closely
with their clients to deliver ES2 Solutions engagements as defined within the ES2 catalogue of
offerings and following defined and approved methodologies and a clearly documented
engagement scope. The Solutions Consultant is a trusted position with considerable responsibility
in ensuring that clients understand the complexities of their business requirements and the realities
of an achievable, working solution. ES2 Solutions Consultants are required to ensure that their end
product deliverable operates in a secure manner as is consistent with the overall ES2 line of
business.
A Solutions Consultant must be presentable whilst working with clients and be a clear and eloquent
communicator in order to represent ES2 in a good light.
The Mobile Developer role will work as a consultant within the Solutions team delivering project
based sprints on the mobile platform, including development work for mobiles using Xamarin.

Solutions Consultant
This is the initial consulting level which incorporates medium level consultants. The Solutions
Consultant works as part of a team, independently on solutions engagements of any size and
where necessary lead small teams of consultant on larger engagements.
Solutions Consultants have strong problem solving abilities and offer constructive solutions to
different issues presented in software development in a positive and timely manner. They work well
on their own, as a team or as a leader as required. Consultant attributes also include the
willingness to learn, ability to plan, organise and multi task so as to manage the different projects
and clients they are involved with.

Key Responsibilities
 The delivery of solutions engagements to the satisfaction of the client.
 Mobile Development using Xamarin
 Enable multi environment app/build
 Push notification setup & configuration
 Deployment & store submission automation
 iOS certificates / Token management
 Web Application Development using PHP
 Testing – API Testing, Unit Testing, Postman, XUnit, Junit
 Follow defined and documented solutions methodologies.
 Working individually or as part of a team.
 Working with clients to gain a full understanding of their functional and non-functional
solution requirements.
 Provide solutions support to the Managed Services team
 Identify opportunities for new business and for new service offerings
 Understand contracts underlying projects and pursue opportunities to facilitate change,
increase revenue and reduce threats and improve financial performance. Manage
project within commercial (impact / implications) of the contract.
 Reduce the bridge between different departments and Solutions team.

Knowledge and Experience

A Solutions Consultant will have either tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrable experience in
their designated field varying to meet the relevant consulting level.
They will have developed an exposure to IT solutions development, documentation, assessment
and should bring a degree of Subject Matter Expertise to the organisation.
Required
 3+ years of Xamarin experience in a commercial / enterprise scale environment /
projects
 Experience with C#
 MySQL Database Development
 Deployment, debugging and testing with App Connect and Google Play
 Agile Methodologies
 Software Management Lifecycle Processes (ie Source Control Management)
 Manage work and project time including the potential to be across multiple projects.
 Work within and to a pre-defined scope
 Current state assessment of existing solutions
 Testing of solutions prior to delivery, including development of test schedules to assure
that solutions meet all documented requirements.
 Interface with application vendors to facilitate support issue resolution on behalf of
clients
 Maintenance and bug-fixes of existing clients and projects including fixing software
defects.
 Capturing, contributing to, and maintaining Solutions knowledge repository.
 Completing technical and handover documentation

Desirable
 Web Application Development using PHP with Laravel
 Agile Certification
