Responsibilties:
• Joint Fit-up and weld quality inspection at site.
• Conducted Procedure qualification record (PQR) and Welder qualification test (WQT).
• Monitored Hydrotesting of pipeline.
• Quality inspection of spiral welded pipe joints of pipes having diameters varying from• 0.9m to 2.37m.
• To make sure that the pipe welding process is as per Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
• Supervision of Non-Destructive Tests of pipe joints i.e., Dye penetrant test and
• ultrasonic test.
• Material inspection and sampling.
• Monitored Anti Corrosion Techniques Sand Blasting & Painting i.e Coal Tar • Epoxy-200.
• Inspection of paint through cross-sectional strength test i.e., Adhesion test.
• Inspection of blasting profile and paint DFT.
• Preparation of Technical Reports and maintaining record e.g., Daily Progress Reports, • NDT reports, • sandblasting
and painting reports, etc.
