https://www.bbc.com/news/business-64823923

2. The article is all about on how the WH Smith have been breached of their employees
data by the hacker. Names, addresses, National Insurance numbers, and birthdates of
the company's present and former UK employees are among the data that may have
been breached. But the customers data are all safe because it is on a separate
system that are unaffected by this incident. The number of WH Smith's current and past
employees who were affected by the incident, which occurred earlier this week, was not
disclosed. About 10,000 employees are employed by the company in the UK throughout
its High Street shops and outlets at train stations and airports. Attacks on employee
data, she said, could be more harmful than others since the kind of data that businesses
store about their employees makes a leak more likely to result in identity theft for the
people who are affected. This was a passive attack because hacker never directly alter or
destroy system resources.

3. Must limit the person who can access the sensitive information, conduct employee
security awareness training and update the software regularly to avoid this kind of
attack in a company.
