1. How did the speaker exhibit leadership from her experience?

- The anonymous extraordinaries discussed how each of us contributes to societal change on a

daily basis in both little and significant ways, and how it has become one of the most moving
moments. Natalie Warne, was 17 years old at that time, made extraordinary actions to make a
difference in the world. She was a volunteer intern with a group involved in the campaign to
liberate the Invisible Children who had been enlisted into Joseph Kony's child army. They
lobbied for legislation that would catch the head of the Resistance Army and offer aid to areas
ravaged by what became known as the Arab Spring. "longest war in Africa." Natalie
demonstrated unselfish, brave, and enthusiastic leadership to make the lobbying have an
influence on the globe. The organization was motivated not by the acknowledgement of big
people but rather by the conviction and certitude to make a difference in the world. She exhibited
as a leader that they were not there to acclaim the advocacy nor make her name known, but rather
to make a significant change in the lives of the affected children of Africa, and legislate the
capture of Joseph Kony. What she exhibited during the ted talk is also that being a leader is not
only about herself, what she did, what she contributed, but also she recognized the effort,
contributions, and the hard work of the anonymous extraordinaries who participated and worked
as hard and fought as eagerly as her to make every movement in various cities a moment to be
successful.

2. What attributes do you think she manifested that made her way of leading their
movement/advocacy impactful? Explain each attribute and why do you it this
contributed to the success of their movement's goal?

- “It’s the acts that makes that makes us extraordinary, not the Ophra moments.” This quote by
Natalie Warne on her ted talk reflects on what attributes she showed to make the movement
impactful. The attributes that she showed is her perseverance and determination. Being a 17 year
old, she thought of what she can do to contribute to making a difference in the world. She went
through 1.152 long hours and sleepless night of working on the logistics, looking for venues and
getting permits for the movement. She was rejected 460 times by agents and politicians
secretaries. Those are only some of her experiences just to pull off the event. This proved that all
of those struggles that she went through, she still persevered, and she was determined to make the
movement successful and eventful. Her optimism and eagerness contributed for the movement to
be recognized. The event began and after 6 days, all the cities were rescued, but Chicago, one of
the cities that was handled by Natalie. They kept on waiting in the city and more people from all
around the country and world came to join and voice out with them. And finally on the 1st of
May, they got the attention of Ophra. She had 2000 people to come out and stand up with the
people in the advocacy. She stood in the rain with 50 other people. With her eagerness to help and
stand with the oppressed children, they were recognized by a big celebrity that she has been
aiming for from the very start of the movement.
