Situation: You were asked by your superior to present your company's new product design. The
presentations will be made with the aim of submitting investment funds for the product.
1. What type of public speaking would you do in the situation above?
Percuasive Speech
2. Design an outline or main point that you will explain to the investors!
First, describe your product by giving funny name and how the company comes out the ideas.
Second, describe your product’s strength and tell it is a worth-it-buy products.
Third, describe yourself having a problem over something to draw audience’s feeling and hard
times but new product has ability to solve it immediately.
Situation: The division you work for, won an award for being the division with the most sales. You as the
head of the division are responsible for delivering a speech to express gratitude.
3. What type of public speaking would you do in the situation above?
Commercial Speech
4. Design a paragraph that contains the words you will convey in that speech!
First, I have to thank you to you all for good job. I know it is hard but you guys are the best for
winning the award. Everyone had done the job very good but it’s shame if we just congrats so how
about party tonight? Don’t worry, it’s my treats.
5. In your opinion, what are the important things to do in speaking?
I think all are important but the main point is being composed all along and draw other people’s
attentions. No subjects? No problem, it’s all good to go as long you could improvise.
6. How do you make speaking in public go well?
Mostly, the point is what I have talked in no.5 question but well, I will tell you again.
