Prove your completed bachelor’s degree by 20 September 2023 in only one of the
following ways:
1) Ask your university to confirm your degree completion

• It must be sent via e-mail directly from your university to: msc-admissions@science.ku.dk
• It must be sent from an official administration e-mail account
• The e-mail must include:
• Your full name
• Date of birth
• Title of your degree
• Date of completion of your degree (Even if you haven’t formally graduated yet)
2) Online verification of your degree

• Provide us with a link to an online verification service

Student Visa (Non-EU): What’s left to do
You have received your Danish residence permit (ST1) and your CPR-number
• You are ready to start your studies
You have not received your Danish residence permit

• If you are from a visa-free country, you can enter Denmark without a visa and apply for a student
visa once you arrive in Denmark.
The deadline for submitting your ST1-application is within 90 days of arrival.
All questions concerning your residence permit must be directed to SIRI

Register your CPR number at UCPH
You must register your CPR number at UCPH in order to get:

• A Youth Card (Ungdomskort) to public transportation
• Your ID card sent to your Danish address
• Your correct information on your MSc diploma
How to register your CPR number:

1. Go to science.ku.dk/english/studentservices/
2. Click on ‘Write’
3. Fill out the form ‘Register your CPR no. via this form’
4. Submit the form (Student Services will receive it automatically)

How to order student ID
Go to “Self Service" on KUnet. Select: ID card > Upload photo for ID card.
Upload a photo of yourself in Self Service. The photo must be exactly 200x200 pixels
and in JPEG/JPG format.
When your ID card is ready, you will receive an e-mail in your KUmail with more
information about when and where you can collect your ID card.

If you have a foreign address or name/address protection

how to collect your student ID card at South Campus. Your ID card will be ready in about 3-4 weeks.
If you have a Danish address

If you have a Danish address and your CPR number is registered in the university systems, you will
get your ID card directly in the post. Your ID card will be ready in about 3-4 weeks.
