7 Description of cases - 20 years old male, a permanent resident of Purok 3,Dalipe, Mlang.
- Dog bite: April 2022(Dog owner, incident happen at home, lower lip) Puppy died

9 Description of deaths MDH: 6/1/2022 Experienced Dizziness and loss of appetite. Seen and examined by Resident on duty,
Venoclysis started and labs done on Isolation. -6/2/22 Drooling of saliva
-6/2/22 Drooling of saliva.
Time of death: 1pm 6/8/2022
Final Diagnosis: Rabies encephalitis.

10 Actions taken MESU: Conducted IEC with family and other within the area. MHO,MESU,BESU, PESU,SI Informed,
LCE informed
Coordinated with ABTC and Department of Agriculture and barangay council. Conducted investigation
for persons who were exposed. Decent burial within 24 hours was observed. Listed person with close
contact and exposed to patient.

Augmentation of Anti Rabies vaccine (Vaxirab-N).
Municipal Impounding team/personel/place, Strict implementation of existing municipal Ordinances.
14 Remarks Ensure availability and adequate supply of anti-rabies vaccine for dogs (c/o D.A)
Ensure high coverage of Vaccination of all Cats and Dogs.
Improve animal rabies surveillance. Strengthen IEC on Human and Animal Rabies.
