THIS CURRICULUM FOCUSED ON KNOWLEDGE OF FACTS AND MOE STARTED A PROJECT WHICH THE MAIN AIM WAS TO RAISE

FOCUSED ON TEXTBOOKS AND ROTE LEARNING. THIS THE CONTENT REMAINED THE SAME AS IT WAS ASSUMED THAT
SCIENCE CURRICULUM WAS ONLY MADE UNIFORM AND THE TEACHERS HAD MASTERS THE CONTENT. THIS PROJECT
OFFICIAL AFTER 1956 WHEN THE RAZAK REPORT WAS STUDENTS CENTERED AND ACTIVITY ORIENTED. ACTIVITY
RECOMMENDED THAT A SINGLE SYLLABUS BE IMPLEMENTED CENTRES WERE SET UP TO SPREAD KNOWLEDGE AND
IN SCHOOLS. RESOURCES TO ALL SCHOOLS
