1st HRPTA Meeting
September 20, 2023, Wednesday
4:30 pm
Participants: Grade 2-Narra Parents

I. Attendance
The said activity was attended by 54 parents out of 60. It started at exactly 4:30 in the
afternoon held in Grade 2-Narra classroom.

2. Grading System
3. Canteen Matters
4. Kab Scout Registration
5. Gulayan sa Paaralan
6. Wellness Activity
7. HRPTA ELECTION
III. Discussion
1. It started with a visual prayer and then greetings.
2. Agendas were presented:
o Parents were reminded to get to know their children’s teacher’s name and section of
the grade where their children belong.
o Wearing of proper uniform is a MUST and school ID’s of their children for easy
identification was conveyed to the parents.
o Coming of children to school at least 10 minutes before the class starts was also
added.
o As discussed, pupils’ attendance is a big factor that can affect children’s performance
in the class.
o If there were concerns, parents should inform the teacher first.
o In addition to, practice of cleanliness and respect among children were highly
encouraged.
o Transferees need to comply the needed documents and those pupils who don’t have
birth certificates as soon as possible.
o Grading system was tackled in which the grades of the pupils in each learning area
will be composed of written works specifically, chapter tests, performance tasks
particularly their portfolio notebooks, and quarterly exams.

o Canteen Matters was also discussed in which permits, canteen products, and
proceeds were conveyed.
o Kab Scout registration was highly recommended to the parents.
o The importance of having a Gulayan sa Paralan was also disseminated.
o Wellness Program was also talked about.
o Parents were highly persuaded to be participative in the school’s program and
activities as part of their children’s education because it takes a village to educate a
child.
