Directions for answering the questions of the new HSK (Level Ill) In the listening, reading and writing sections of the new HSK (Level Il), examples are given before the test questions. Test takers are asked to answer the questions following the exam- ples, Simulated Test 1 is used as an example to explain how to answer the questions. Listening In this section, each question will be heard twice. Then test takers will have around 6 sec- onds to answer each question in Part 1, 8 seconds for each question in Part 2, and 12 sec- onds for each question in Part 3 and Part 4.
