Across global operations the company employes approximately
12,000 staff from more than 40 nationalities. RAK Ceramics is a

1991 - RAK Ceramics first factories
Forged in the mountains

of Ras Al Khaimah
RAK Ceramics was established in Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) in 1989
by H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme
Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, who aspired to have the
best machinery, latest technology, and to produce the best
products possible for sale in the world.
Now under the vision and leadership of Sheikh Khalid Bin Saud
Al Qasimi, Chairman of RAK Ceramics, the company has enjoyed
rapid growth becoming an industry leader in just 30 years.
Latest technology and
manufacture
RAK Ceramics is internationally recognized for the high quality
of its sanitary ceramics. This quality comes from carefully
selected premium raw materials that ensure a perfect finish of
the products. Better ingredients, better sanitaryware!
At RAK Ceramics we are not just ceramic experts. We also

manufacture seat covers, bathtubs, showertrays, furniture
mirrors and accessories.
Quality makes us different
RAK Ceramics was the first company in United Arab Emirates
being awarded with ISO 9001 certification by internationally
recognized UK certification body “CICS” (Ceramic Research
Institute Certification Scheme) for ceramics tiles and sanitary
wares. Bureau Veritas Certifications verified the implementation
of RAK Ceramics’ quality management system and certified the
company in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015
with the scope covering the design, development, production
and supply of ceramics and porcelain floor and wall tiles, slabs
and vitreous china sanitary wares.
Bureau Veritas Certifications also certified RAK Ceramics for ISO
14001:2015 Environmental Management System.
Every phase of the RAK Ceramics sanitaryware production
process counts on strict quality control procedures. The
leadership in the GCC Region and the strong presence in
several other international markets reflect our everyday efforts.
Our internal Norms comply and exceed the international
requirements in terms of quality and performance.
Its Testing Laboratory is operating in accordance to ISO/IEC
17025 accredited by NATA (National Association of Testing
Authorities, Australia).

RAK Ceramics Sanitaryware production is accredited with the
world’s most reputable certification entities. With national and
international certifications for product and processes, RAK
Ceramics not only complies to the requirements, but often
exceeds the most stringent international standards. Our own
severe water/air product testing is performed on the 100% of WC
& Bidet production. Only complying products are labeled with
our QC sticker: a seal of quality and performance!

elements of RAK Ceramics mission statement. The company is

its manufacturing chain – from product design and efficient
operations processes – and to playing an active role in building

Water Saving Easy Cleaning Silent Hygienic No ledges or rim
Rimless technology
RAK Ceramics delivers the ultimate in technology for
bathroom suites. Based on similar design specifications to
sanitaryware in hospitals and medical centres, RAK Ceramics
Rimless water closets allows you to experience the same high
standards of hygiene in your own home.
RAK Ceramics continues to set new standards of hygiene and
water efficiency in the sanitaryware industry, with uniquely
engineered water flushing systems that effectively remove
waste, helping to keep bathrooms fresh and hygienic.
WATER SAVING
Using just 4 litres for the full flush and 2.5 litres for the half
flush, water usage is reduced by a third.
HYGIENIC AND EASY TO CLEAN

The water closets have no rims to harbour germs, making

RAK Ceramics in India: -

In India, RAK Ceramics has the largest and most modern vitrified
tile manufacturing plant in Samalkot in Andhra Pradesh with a
manufacturing capacity of 30,000 sq. mtrs. of vitrified tiles. 3000
sanitary ware pieces/day. RAK Ceramics also has a Joint venture
ceramics tile manufacturing plant in Morbi in Gujarat which is
operative since mid-2017 and another mega slabs manufacturing
plant in Gujarat is operative from Feb 2019.
The company has more than 8000 designs and shades, making
it among the largest range of products globally. A wide range of
sizes of vitrified and ceramic tiles enables its customers to design
an abode out of their spaces giving them plenty of room for
imagination.
Currently RAK products are available through a close knit network

of 9 Exclusive Company Showrooms and over 800 dealers across
India.
