Public Sector Banks recover ₹6.4 lakh crore NPAs since FY15

 Public Sector Banks (PSBs) have recovered non-performing loans and
write-offs of ₹6.42 lakh crore since FY15 and sued 98.5% of willful
defaulters.
 सावव जबनक क्षे त्र के िैं कों (PSB) ने बवि वर्षव 2015 से ₹6.42 लाख करोड़ के गै र-
बनष्पाबदि ऋण और राइट्-ऑि की वसूली की है और 98.5% बवलिुल बडिॉल्टरों पर
मुकदमा दायर बकया है ।
 Over FY16 to FY21, the government has infused ₹3.36 lakh crore of
capital in PSBs while the banks themselves have raised an additional
₹2.99 lakh crore from the markets.
 बवि वर्षव 2016 से बवि वर्षव 2011 िक, सरकार ने पीएसिी में 3.36 लाख करोड़ रुपये

 The gross NPA ratio of PSBs has fallen from 14.6% on March 31, 2018, to
7.4% on March 31, 2022, while the net NPA ratio declined from 8% to 2%
over this period.

2022 को 7.4% हो गया, जिबक इस अवबध में शुद् एनपीए अनुपाि 8% से घट्कर 2%

 Stressed assets are down from 15.3% to 8.7%.

 The amount involved in fraud cases reported by public sector banks
(PSBs) has come down to Rs 3,204 crore in the last fiscal from Rs 28,884
crore in 2017-18.
o The net profit of PSB’s increased to ₹66,519 crore in 2021-22
against ₹31,820 crore in 2020-21.
o The gross NPAs (non-performing assets) of these banks fell to Rs
5,41,750 crore from Rs 6,16,616 crore in 2020-21

approval for procurement of military equipment worth Rs 1,83,778 crore
since 2020-21.

 AoN is the first step towards any defence procurement, which is

 From 2020-21 to 2022-23, 59 AoNs amounting to Rs 1,83,778 cr were

 Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that the state government
will implement 100% of the syllabus in higher education institutes along
the lines of the National Education Policy.
