The project called the Fifth Generation Computer Systems
(FGCS) began in 1982 under the work of Japans Ministry of
International Trade and Industry (MITI for short). Its
objective was to create computers that can effectively utilize
computing and smart, logic programming techniques.
The period of fifth generation is between 1980-1982 and these modern
times. In the fifth generation, VLSI technology transformed into ULSI
(Ultra Large Scale Integration) technology, resulting in the production
of microscopic chips having about ten million electronic components.
This generation is based on parallel processing hardware and AI
(Artificial Intelligence). AI is a growing branch in computer science,
which interprets the things and method of making computers think like
us, human beings. All the top-level languages like C and C++, Java, .Net
etc., are used in this generation.
These are examples of companies that sell
5th devices/computers.
Apple- mainly known Lenovo- known for
for their ipad, iphone their laptops,
and macbooks. computers, tablets and
phones.

Samsung- known for their Acer- known for

galaxy phones and tablets and their wide range
also for being one of the largest of laptops and
producing device companies desktops.

Because of the ongoing development and
growing of these modern computers, desktops
and etc., it helps us work, it helps discover
things we can’t normally discover, it also
shows that over the course of multiple years
since 1982, computers have upgraded and
became better, more reliable and smarter.
At the end, this has shown us
that computers are smart and
that have developed. It has also
shown that despite being just
machines, it helps humanity a
lot.
