What is your role of ROTC in strengthening the national security?

ROTC is one of the components of NSTP that will train students to become Armed
Forces Reservists of the Philippines. ROTC will strengthen national security by
motivating and teaching students basic knowledge about their roles in the country's
security.

The role of ROTC is to protect the country from all enemies. ROTC will also assist
and relieve those affected by the calamities such as typhoons and earthquakes. They
can also be used for search and rescue missions. That will help the country lessen
the percentage of casualties, improving national security. This program doesn't aim
to force the students but will lift their souls to the spirit of patriotism and
nationalism. It will teach them the soldiers' drills necessary for emergencies such as
patrolling, ambuscades, and raids. It will train them about operations in the
mountains. ROTC can be used in all country's activities and will ensure the safety of
everyone.

To conclude, ROTC can genuinely strengthen the national security. The percentage
of trouble could be lessened by deploying ROTC reservists. ROTC will contribute to
the country's safety and peace.
