Cotton And Cat

About this pattern
This pattern includes step by step photos to help guide you through making your
very own Mouse!

Pattern skill level - Easy

I think anyone can achieve total cuteness if you follow along with the photos and
reach out for help if you get stuck.

I recommend reading through the pattern before you start.

Remember to stuff as you go.

Make sure to secure all loose ends, especially the start of the magic rings.
Don’t worry if you make a mistake, that’s what makes it unique!
If you need any additional help/ have any questions, feel free to contact me
via email – cottonandcat@outlook.com.
You need to know basic crochet stitches to follow this pattern [listed on the
next page]. If you need help, there are lots of videos on YouTube.
I ALWAYS use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of the round.
[img] refers to the images.

Cotton And Cat

Materials Yarn
For the mouse you will need DK weight yarn in colors -
2.75 mm/C hook
Grey [body]
9 mm safety eyes
Pink [ears and nose]
Scissors
Yarn needle
These are just the color combos I came up with, so be as
Stitch markers
creative as you want and use whatever color/size of yarn
Fiberfill
you want, just remember to adjust your hook size so there
are no gaps between the stitches.

Abbreviations
Sc = single crochet
Inc = increase
Dec = decrease
Ch = chain
Slst = slip stitch
Mr = magic ring
St = stitch
Rnd = round

Cotton And Cat

Helpful Tips
Invisible decrease: put the hook into the front loops of the next two
stitches [img A], yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull A
through two loops.

Normal decrease: (put the hook in the next stitch, yarn over, pull
up a loop) x 2, yarn over, pull through all three loops.

How to read this pattern

The number between the brackets at the end = The total number of
Inc 6 [12] stitches you should have at the end of the round

The number after a stitch = the number of times you need to

make this stitch

When there isn’t a number after a stitch, that means you only
need to do that stitch once (unless otherwise stated)

(Sc 2, inc) x 6 [24]

The “x” followed by a number = the number of times you need
to repeat the instructions within the brackets
