BLACK AND WHITE HATS

The men can only speak once they can deduce the color of their hats. The black rectangle is a solid
wall. Which man speaks first?

The man who speaks first is, in my opinion, the second man. Assuming that each man is aware that
there are four hats: two black and two white, If the first man notices that the second and third men
have the same color hats, he will conclude that he has the opposite color and will solve the puzzle.
However, since the second and third men are wearing different colored hats, the first man remains
silent. Unfortunately, the third and fourth men behind the solid wall are unable to see anyone's hat
color. So, the second man notices that he and the third man are wearing different hats and realizes
that the first man does not know the answer. And when he notices that the first man is wearing a
black hat as well as the third man, he realizes that his own hat is white.
