Ariel was introduced in the year 1967 in the UK market and
now is available globally. It was launched in Indian in the year
1991.
The USP of Ariel is that removes all the stains from the clothes
without hampering them. As of today, washing machines are
popular in homes, not only do clothes need to be cleaned but
they also need to remain fresh and the quality of the fabric
needs to be maintained.

Tide Detergent: “Chaunk Gaye?”


Tide is an American brand of laundry detergent manufactured
and marketed by Procter & Gamble. Introduced in 1946, it is
the highest-selling detergent brand in the world, with an
estimated 14.3 percent of the global market.

Whisper sanitary pads: “Have a Happy Period!”
The menstrual hygiene category in India has come leaps and
bounds from where it was when Whisper was launched in
1989.
Periods was something no one talked about openly and
advertising about menstrual hygiene products was unheard
of.
Since then, Indian women have changed from being almost
completely cloth users to about 50% of them (in urban areas)
now using pads.
And, Whisper has been at the head of the charge to drive
this change.

Gillette shaving blades: “the best a man can get”
Gillette is an American brand of safety razors and other personal care
products including shaving supplies, owned by the multi-national
corporation P&G.
Based in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, it was owned by The
Gillette Company, a supplier of products under various brands until that
company merged into P&G in 2005.
The Gillette Company was founded by King C. Gillette in 1901 as a safety
razor manufacturer. Safety razors at the time were essentially short
pieces of a straight razor clamped to a holder.
The blade had to be stropped before each shave and after a time needed
to be honed by a cutler. Gillette's invention was inspired by his mentor at
Crown Cork & Seal Company, William Painter, who had invented the
Crown cork.
Painter encouraged Gillette to come up with something that, like the
Crown cork, could be thrown away once used.

Singh and Virat Kohli were two well known spokesperson for this brand in India.
