RAINBOW

INFORMATION ABOUT IT
RAINBOW
HOW IT IS FORMED?

In order for a rainbow to form, rain and sun must

be present at the same time. Rain scatters the
sunlight and makes the colors of the rainbow
visible.
RAINBOW
WHAT COLORS DOES IT CONSIST OF?

A rainbow consists of seven colors:

red, orange, yellow, green, blue,
indigo, and violet.
P.S
A rainbow can be not only colorful but
also black and white when observed at
night under moonlight.
Rainbows don't always have stable colors;
they can quickly change their shades.
RAINBOW
THE LONGEST RAINBOW IN THE WORLD:

One of the largest rainbows ever recorded was in the UK in

1994, measuring approximately 8 kilometers in length.

The smallest rainbow a person can observe is a

microrainbow. A microrainbow is a very small and less
visible reflection of the same phenomenon that creates a
normal rainbow.
RAINBOW
CULTURES AND RAINBOW.

In Ireland, rainbows are often considered symbols of luck

and good fortune and are even depicted on many Irish
souvenirs.
Different cultures may associate rainbows with various
myths and legends, making them even more intriguing for
study.
