means you can skip this challenge if you’re not invested to get the last MTX skins reward.
● The (40/40) tag means skip this challenge if you're aiming for 38/40 challenges only, which
means you only want the exclusive MTX skins and don't want the hideout totem maxed out.

2. Rediscovered Past
Complete each of the following encounters:
Very Easy
This challenge introduces the basic mechanics of the Forbidden Sanctum. Inside sanctum, players
have to explore a randomized dungeon, collecting Aureus coins and trying to reach the end before
their Resolve runs out.
3. Vendor Knows Best I
Complete vendor recipes to receive each of the following items. A vendor recipe is when
you trade a specific combination of items to a vendor, not when you buy items from their
purchase screen:
● Hybrid Flask
❖ Vendor 1 orb of fusing, 1 life flask, and 1 mana flask together.(The flasks must be the same tier)
● Onyx Amulet
❖ Vendor 1 amulet(any type), 1 blue skill gem, and 1 red skill gem, and 1 green skill gem.
● Jeweller's Orb
❖ Vendor an item with 6 sockets.
❖ Vendor 1 orb of fusing and 1 chromatic orb.
● Orb of Chance
❖ Vendor 2 identified rare items with the same name, and also works with MIRRORED items.
❖ Vendor a full set rare item with their item level 59 below
❖ Vendor 4 item with the same base type but different rarity(normal, magic, rare, unique)
Very Easy
A good introduction of vendor recipes to newbies, doing vendor recipes is the best way to get rich
easily in PoE.

You'll encounter them as you progress through the acts, these are the first-half of the act bosses,
click the links above to learn how to progress through each story act properly including information
on boss fight mechanics. Very useful for new players to learn how to "speedrun" the whole
campaign.
5. Dangerous Errands
Complete each of the following encounters:
● Activate a Shrine
A shrine can appear randomly in most areas, granting significant bonuses to nearby monsters or
casting spells at nearby players, and are often guarded by monsters. Players can steal the shrine to
gain its bonuses for 45 seconds or until leaving the area. Players can have any number of different
shrine effects at once.
● Complete a Vaal Side Area
Vaal side areas are randomly found in areas and maps. They appear on the minimap and glow red
while having a big, red and beating heart outside the entrance. Each side area contains monsters, a
boss and a Vaal Vessel, that drops a large range of items, from Sacrifice Fragments to Vaal Skill
gems and Corrupted Items.
● Complete an Abyss
You'll start to encounter abyss from Act 6 onward. Upon walking over an Abyss encounter, a crack
will form on the ground, and a small number of monsters will spawn from it. As you follow the crack
it will extend until it creates a pit which will spawn even more monsters. After you clear the
monsters fast enough, it may start a new crack from the pit to follow, OR reveal an abyssal chest
that will drop some items including Abyssal Jewels that can be used on your passive tree.
Very Easy
This challenge is designed to introduce you to some of the other older-league mechanics in the
game.
6. Secretive Sepulchre
Complete each of the following encounters:
Easy
This challenge introduces a bit more advanced mechanics of the Forbidden Sanctum, which slightly
expands on challenge No.2.
Very Easy
You will encounter these act bosses as you progress through the acts, these are the second-half of
the act bosses, click the links above to learn how to progress through each story act properly

8. Atziri Calls
Defeat Atziri, Queen of the Vaal in The Apex of Sacrifice.
Atziri, Queen of the Vaal is a very old endgame boss that was introduced in the Sacrifice of the
Vaal expansion. You can access this boss’s domain, The Apex of Sacrifice by collecting sacrifice
fragments which can mostly be obtained from Vaal Vessels(can found from Vaal Side Area and
Vaal Temple Map). After collecting them, putting all 4 piece variations of the fragments inside your
map device with correct arrangement, activating it will open up portals to her domains.
Normal
This challenge is pretty surprising … because normally Atziri’s challenge in most leagues have to be
done in her “Uber” version, but for this challenge you only need to deal with her in normal form,
pretty odd … Well, not gonna complain much with GGG’s intention to make her challenges much
“easier” this league 😝
9. Complete Anarchy Encounters
Complete each of the following Anarchy encounters:
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Anarchy league. Overall these
challenges are not too RNG and not too grindy either, even if you’re having bad RNG to find them
thankfully all of these challenges are shareable so can be done in party.
● Activate 90 Shrines
A shrine can appear randomly in most areas, granting significant bonuses to nearby monsters or
casting spells at nearby players, and are often guarded by monsters. Players can steal the shrine to
gain its bonuses for 45 seconds or until leaving the area. Players can have any number of different
shrine effects at once. 90 amount seems achievable with mild grind, can also speed up this
challenge by doing the following methods:
❖ Taking shrines-related atlas passives.
❖ Use Domination mod from Kirac’s map device(cost 3 chaos orbs).
❖ Open map with “Your Maps contain an additional Shrine” from a sextant modifier.
❖ Opening map that contains the “Area contains 5 additional Shrines” implicit modifier.
● Kill a Map Boss while under the effect of a Shrine
Pretty similar with challenge No.9 except this is much easier, just find a shrine that spawn near a
map boss to do this challenge … or in case the shrine spawn too far then just damage the map boss
till culling range, go find the shrine in the map, take the shrine then run back to the map boss, kill it
to complete this challenge.
● Activate a Divine Shrine
Divine shrines make the nearby enemy undamageable, an

● Have the effects of 4 different Shrines on you at once
This challenge can easily be done by taking “Syncretism” from atlas passive which grants the
player another shrine effect whenever they activate a shrine, adding on with the increased amount
of shrines in map should be able to complete this challenge easily.
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Domination league. Overall these
challenges are not too grindy but a bit RNG because of the Divine Shrine challenge, but is still fine
because this challenge is shareable as long so lookout in global chat 820/4040. Although not sure if
the party member near whoever activates the shrine gets the challenge completion though, or is it
only the player who activates it gets the challenges …
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Beyond league. Overall these
challenges are not too RNG and not too grindy either, even if you’re having bad RNG to find them
thankfully all of these challenges are shareable so can be done in party.
(Click the link on the boss name above here to see their fights)
Easy
This challenge involves completing the different types of rooms that can be found in the Forbidden
Sanctum. Each room’s name has their own different layout and objectives. Only needing to complete
any one of these room types, so should be easy enough.
● Complete 60 Breaches
Breaches are timed monster-spawning portals that only spawn in end game maps. 60 amount seems
achievable with mild grind, can also speed up this challenge by doing the following methods:
❖ Taking breach-related atlas passives.
❖ Use Breach mod from Kirac’s map device(cost 4 chaos orbs).
❖ Open map with “Your Maps contain an additional Breach” from a sextant modifier.
❖ Opening map that contains the “Area contains # additional Breaches” implicit modifier.
❖ Opening map with Breach Scarabs.
❖ Do Kirac's master mission that provides a map with “Open the Breaches” & “Defeat the
Breachlord” objectives.
● Open 20 Breachlord's Clasped Hands
Seems pretty straightforward and small numbers too, you also can speed up this challenge by taking
“Power Struggle” from atlas passive if you really want to. Also by doing Niko's Memory of
Grasping Hands quest, Niko will provide a few maps that contain a lot of breachlord’s clasped hands
too.
NOTE: This challenge requires you to click the bigger-sized-hands, not the small one, and
sometimes these big-hands can be visible before opening a breach encounter.
● Upgrade a Breach Unique
You can upgrade a breach's unique item by applying the correct type of blessing currency
corresponding to their unique item’s theme. To do this challenge just buy the cheapest blessing
currency from here, and their corresponding unique item(look here), right click the blessing currency
then left click on the unique item to complete this challenge.
● Complete any Pure or Flawless Breachstone
It doesn’t require you to complete the Chayula type so it should be easy enough, just buy the
cheapest Pure Breachstone from here, run it then you’ll complete this challenge. Can invite
experienced players to help with the map if your character is not strong enough.
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Breach league. Overall these challenges
are not too RNG and not too grindy either, even if you’re having bad RNG to find them thankfully all
of these challenges are shareable so can be done in party.
● Defeat 60 Harbingers
Harbingers is a blue-floating immortal monster that can only be damaged by killing its minions that
it spawn. 60 amount seems achievable with mild grind, can also speed up this challenge by doing
the following methods:
❖ Taking harbinger-related atlas passives.
❖ Use Harbinger mod from Kirac’s map device(cost 6 chaos orbs).
❖ Open map with “Map Bosses are accompanied by a mysterious Harbinger” from a sextant
modifier.
❖ Opening map that contains the “Area contains 3 additional Harbingers” implicit modifier.
❖ Opening map with Harbinger Scarabs.
❖ Do Kirac's master mission that provides a map with “Slay the Harbingers” objectives.
❖ Do Kirac's Memory of Phaaryl quest.
● Assemble a Harbinger Unique
You can transform the parts of a Harbinger unique into a whole by collecting the fragments from
The Beachhead maps. Here is a list of all the Harbinger uniques. High advice to look through the
cheapest set of harbinger unique, buy them and assemble them accordingly in your inventory to
complete this challenge easily.
● Use any Harbinger, Ancient or Fracturing Orb(updated in 3.20.1 patch)
❖ Harbinger Orb is a currency that can only be obtained from harbinger entities. This
currency can be used to upgrade a map into another natural map of one tier higher, or randomly
have a chance to transform it into a Beachhead unique map.
❖ Ancient Orb is a currency that can only be obtained from harbinger entities. This currency
can be used to reforge a unique item into another unique of the same item class.
❖ Fracturing Orb is a new currency item that’s from 3.20 expansion, which can be obtained
only from harbinger entities, and is very RARE … Highly advised to gather enough wealth buy this
currency instead of actually grinding it for your own sanity.
● Complete The Beachhead while it is Tier 15
The Beachhead is an endgame map filled with many Harbinger type monsters and is easy to do, just
kill a bunch of harbinger monsters and that's it! You can obtain this unique map easily from turning
in The Landing divination card which drops often from the Strand map OR from upgrading a map by
using a Harbinger's Orb on a normal map or by buying one from a player. The Beachhead can also
be a good source of experience in higher tiers.
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Harbinger league. Overall these
challenges are not too RNG and not too grindy either, even if you’re having bad RNG to find them
thankfully all of these challenges are shareable so can be done in party.
There are 2 type of delirium boss, Kosis and Omniphobia. These bosses can be found
naturally spawn during a delirium encounter, or force spawning them by opening a map with at least
40% delirious, or from Simulacrum map.
● Gain at least 20 rewards from a single Delirium Mirror
This challenge requires around 8 stacks of 1st reward’s icon(8+6+4+2) from a normal delirium
encounter, which can be a bit tricky but not too hard depending on your character’s build clear
speed. Best way to do is to run a long linear map with dense monster pack size such as Strand
Map, then “juice up” the map with multiple league mechanics to increase the monster pack size even
more. Doing with mechanics that can pause delirium even longer is even better; such as ritual,
incursion, blight, and harvest. The Ideal setup:
1. Taking atlas passive that improves delirium rewards.
5. “Delirium Reward Bars fill 100% faster in your Maps” from sextant modifier.
6. Breach Scarab.
7. Elder Scarab.
8. Harbinger Scarab.
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Delirium league. Overall these
challenges are a bit hard especially for the 20 rewards and simulacrum which requires a good build
to complete those content, but thankfully these challenges can be done in a party so invite
experience to help these challenges if your character isn't capable of doing so.
● Coves map
● Foundry map
(NOTE: You need to craft map that contain 2 or 3 bosses with “Twinned” modifier for this challenge,
while maps that have more than 4 bosses doesn’t need this modifier)
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Ritual league. Overall not too hard …
well except for Opulent Ritual requires a bit RNG but thankfully is a shareable challenge so can be
done in party.
17. Pious Pacts
Complete a floor in the Forbidden Sanctum while affected by three of the following
Accursed Pacts:
● Pyrrhic Pact
UPSIDE: Resolve recovered is doubled
DOWNSIDE: Maximum Resolve is lowered by 50% of recovered Resolve
● Doubling Pact
UPSIDE: Guards are Twinned
DOWNSIDE: Guards are Twinned
● Apex Pact
UPSIDE: 50% less Resolve lost in Boss Rooms
DOWNSIDE: 100% more Resolve lost in non-Boss Rooms
● Austerity Pact
UPSIDE: Merchant prices are reduced by 50%
DOWNSIDE: Monsters do not drop Aureus coins
● Indomitable Pact
UPSIDE: Gain 30 Inspiration at the start of every room
DOWNSIDE: Inspiration resets every room
NOTE: This challenge is unshareable/can’t be shared in party and only map owners get it instead.
Normal
You’ll need to finish Act7 Divinia’s side quest, Sanctum Temptations first in order to enable
Accursed Pacts’s room spawning in your sanctum dungeon to do this challenge. Accursed Pacts can
be accessed by uncommon reward rooms. Pacts usually give you an upside such as giving boons for
a downside such as halving your maximum resolve or giving afflictions. Occasionally you will find a
Pact that does something very specific, with large upsides but large downsides. Only need to
complete 3 out of 5 of them, and can be done in any level area so it shouldn't be a problem here.
PoELAB is a good resource to check for labyrinth information and whether or not the day has a
short/safe layout to be run. You can also try installing LabCompass for more convenience, it is a
MUST-HAVE tool for long-term labyrinth runners! Here are the locations for each trial you must obtain
before being able to enter certain labyrinth difficulties:
● The Labyrinth(Normal Difficulty):
Act1 The Lower Prison
Act2 The Crypt Level 1
Act2 The Chamber of Sins Level 2
Act3 The Crematorium
Act3 The Catacombs
Act3 The Imperial Gardens
● The Cruel Labyrinth(Cruel Difficulty):
Act6 The Prison
Act7 The Crypt
Act7 The Chamber of Sins Level 2
● The Merciless Labyrinth(Merciless Difficulty):
Act8 The Bath House
Act9 The Tunnel
Act10 The Ossuary
● The Eternal Labyrinth(Uber Difficulty):
Big changes were made to The Lord’s Labyrinth in patch 3.16, mainly the fact that now not all 6
trials need to be completed in order to gain access to The Eternal Lab, greatly increasing the speed
at which end-game players can access the lab and get their final 2 ascendancy points. You still
need an Offering to the Goddess, which you still get from Ascendancy Trials in maps, but from 3.16
on, Ascendancy Trials will only start appearing in yellow or higher tier maps(Tier6+).
Normal
The labyrinth will get easier if you practice it more, if your build can't do it, just pay someone to do it
for you or look on poelab for helpful tips when clearing it. 😁
Running the lab since the changes made in 3.14 can be quite profitable now with helmet enchants
being easier to obtain and with the addition of powerful unique jewels dropping from eternal lab
chests.
Very Easy
Unique Jewels were heavily changed in 3.20 expansion, they are now much rarer by default with a
large portion of once normal jewels now becoming corruption exclusive jewels. This challenge
requires you to use Vaal Orbs to corrupt Jewels, hoping for these special outcomes. Any corrupted
Jewel has a chance to turn into a Corrupted Unique Jewel, even non-unique ones. Basically for this
challenge you just need to corrupt crafting as many Jewels as it takes.
● Orb of Fusing
❖ Vendor 1 6-linked sockets item.
● Unique Item
❖ Vendor 1 white Sharktooth Arrow Quiver, 1 rare Onyx Amulet, 1 Rain of Arrows skill gem with at
least 1% quality, and 1 Orb of Chance.
❖ Vendoring 1 Faminebind Rustic Sash, 1 Feastbind Rustic Sash, and 1 Orb of Fusing.
❖ Vendoring 3 same unique item.(can’t be corrupted)
● Gilded Scarab
❖ Vendor 2 Gilded-tier Scarabs, and 1 Orb of Horizons.
❖ Vendor 3 same type of Polished-tier Scarabs.
(NOTE: You can’t complete this challenge if you’ve upgrade the scarab from your premium fragment
stash tab)
● Exalted Shard
❖ Vendor Identified / Unidentified full set of the same influenced items.
Very Easy
A good introduction of vendor recipes to newbies, doing vendor recipes is the best way to get rich
easily in PoE. Pretty similar to challenge No.3, but this time the recipes involved are harder and
more late-game focused.
● Beyond Boss
There are 3 types of beyond bosses;
● Breach Boss
There’s 6 types of breach bosses;
❖ Xoph, Dark Embers
❖ Esh, Forked Thought
❖ Tul, Creeping Avalanche
❖ Uul-Netol, Unburdened Flesh
❖ Chayula, Who Dreamt
❖ Xesht-Ula, the Open Hand
These bosses can be found from map with breach encounter at a small chance of them spawning
during the encounter, or from their Breachstone maps. You can also increase the chances of
spawning breach bosses during your breach encounters in map, by taking ”Power Struggle”,
”Gatekeepers”, and a few small nodes from atlas passives. You can also find breach bosses easily
from doing Niko's Memory of Demonic Onslaught questline, which has a higher chance of
spawning breach bosses from each map that Niko gave.
(BUG: Breachlord that spawn in map sometime doesn’t count toward this challenge, but doing in
Breachstones still count)
● Delirium Boss
There are 2 type of delirium boss;
❖ Kosis
❖ Omniphobia
These bosses can be found naturally spawn during a delirium encounter, or force spawning them by
opening a map with at least 40% delirious, or from Simulacrum map.(Doesn’t work anymore)
● Harbinger Boss
Harbinger Boss can only be found from The Beachhead Harbinger Map, or from normal map when
“First Wave” from atlas passive is enabled.
Normal
This challenge wants players to revisit some of the “endgame” content of old league's mechanics.
Most of them are not that hard to spawn nor hard to kill either. If you wanna rush this challenge,
there’s 3 methods:
❖ Farm beyond bosses in low tier maps instead with the altas passive helps that can boost their
spawn rate, this method maybe slow but achievable on most builds.
❖ Farm delirium bosses by opening maps with delirious modifiers on them(at least 40%), and the
higher the map tier the higher chance of the map containing delirium bosses(maximum 2 per
map). You also can farm these delirious maps from Kirac’s atlas mission by using Delirious
Scouting Report, thus is cheaper that way to farm delirium maps instead of self applying delirium
orb on your maps. Note that this method requires a decent build though because of how difficult
the delirium effect can be, especially at higher percentages of delirium.
❖ But if you want a faster method and have a very strong character’s build, you can farm delirium
boss instead from Simulacrum map which spawns a lot of delirium bosses per run.(Doesn’t
work anymore)
BOONS
AFFLICTIONS
Anomaly Chiselled Stone Cutpurse Deadly Snare
Attractor Monsters Petrify You cannot gain Traps impact
Rooms spawn on Hit Aureus coins infinite Resolve
Volatile Anomalies
Hard
While in the Forbidden Sanctum you can occasionally obtain Major and Minor boons which massively
impact your Forbidden Sanctum runs. Even though only need to do 17 out of 23 of them, this
challenge is unshareable/can’t be done in party which makes this challenge even harder … but
thankfully you only need to complete the last room of the sanctum’s floor instead of the whole
sanctum to get the challenge completion, just have to lookout for these specific boons/affliction
spawn during your sanctum run.
NOTE: You won’t get challenge completion from Major Affliction/Boon(Glass Shard/Crystal Shard)
that get consumed before completing the floor even though you already got it, so make sure try not
consume it first before completing the floor to get its challenge completion.
Normal
This challenge will be slightly easier to complete as you keep grinding end game maps, collecting
divination cards that reward unique maps(The Encroaching Darkness) and naturally dropping
unique maps. Even if your RNG is not in your favor for collecting these maps, you could easily buy
most of the unique maps here, as most of the unique maps are quite cheap. Also look out for people
sharing unique map completion on Global Chat channel 820 and 4040.
● Exalted Orb
This currency can be obtained everywhere, such as:
❖ from vendoring an identified/unidentified full set of the same influenced items.
❖ from vendoring item with “Item sells for much more to vendors” modifier(from Gilded Fossil
craft’s)
❖ from arcanist’s strongbox.
❖ from NPC Tujen, the Haggler.
❖ from currency’s room in the Temple of Atzoatl.
❖ from divination cards; The Hoarder, The Saint’s Treasure, Abandoned Wealth, Brother’s Stash.
❖ from Tiny’s Trial crafting in betrayal mechanic(Guff Syndicate’s reward)
Easy
Exalted Orbs are currencies that can put new modifiers on rare items. These are quite rare and some
can only be gained from doing certain content. Only need to accomplish 3 out of 4 of them, so just
pick whichever is the cheapest 3 currencies, then apply it on your rare item to complete this
challenge easily.
❖ Saqawal, First of the Sky(buy) - The recipe requires the Saqawine Rhex which only
appears in Tier 5+ maps. This bird-dinosaur boss is not that dangerous but try not to stand in the
tornadoes, they hurt more than anything else in the encounter.
❖ Craiceann, First of the Deep(buy) - The recipe requires the Craicic Spider Crab which
only appears in Tier 7+ maps. This crab boss is basically the same as the bird boss. They are just
loot pinatas tbh, haven't seen them alive long enough to do anything.
❖ Fenumus, First of the Night(buy) - The recipe requires the Fenumal Hybrid Arachnid
which only appears in Tier 10+ maps. This spider boss deals a lot of chaos damage, so bring a
chaos resist flask, and don't stand in the poison stuff on the ground.
❖ Farrul, First of the Plains(buy) - The recipe requires Farric Tiger Alpha which only
appears in Tier 13+ maps. This tiger boss deals a lot of physical damage, so bring a phys
reduction flask, bleed immunity flask and dodge its stampede.
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Bestiary League. You'll start
encountering this mechanic after Act2 with Einhar, BeastMaster assisting you throughout your
adventure by capturing those beasts when they're low life, then you can use the captured beast for
crafting in his hideout called The Menagerie. Overall these challenges are not too RNG and not too
grindy either, even if you’re having bad RNG to find them thankfully all of these challenges are
shareable so can be done in party(must enter the map together or else captured beasts won’t be
shared).
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Delve League. Overall these challenges
are not that grindy but maybe a bit RNG especially for the delve boss, but thankfully this challenge is
shareable so can be done in a party.
Normal
This challenge requires you to kill 10 unique guards and 4 unique mini bosses throughout the
Forbidden Sanctum. You can find unique guards from any room; while mini bosses from Scriptorium,
Reliquary, Sanctum Bellum, or Mausoleum room(read challenge No.12 for more info). Finding these
mini bosses may be a bit RNG, but thankfully this challenge can be shared so just join whichever
party member who found the mini boss’s room, get the kill then you’ll get this challenge completion.
Just make sure you’re farming sanctum’s mechanic in map Tier11 above to do these challenges.
Normal
This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Incursion League. Overall these
challenges are not too RNG and not too grindy either, even if you’re having bad RNG to find them
thankfully all of these challenges are shareable so can be done in party.

This challenge is fully focused on old content that’s from the Betrayal League. Overall these
challenges are not too RNG and not too grindy either, even if you’re having bad RNG to find them
thankfully all of these challenges are shareable so can be done in party.
Normal
This challenge is pretty straightforward and flexible, just kill any monsters in any content as long as
the area level is 68 or above(map Tier1+ above). Some good ideas would be in places where a lot of
waves of monsters spawn such as:

❖ The Coward's Trial
❖ Domain of Timeless Conflict
❖ Delving content(at least depth 35 or deeper)

Atlas Memory mechanics were added in 3.19 expansion, and are associated with certain Atlas
Masters. May require a bit of RNG to craft maps with IIQ above 100%, but this challenge is
shareable so should be fine, just join a party who have crafted 100% above IIQ map in their atlas
memory to complete this challenge.
● Complete the Forbidden Sanctum while you have at least 15 Afflictions in an area of
level 81 or higher
Here’s a list of Afflictions you can obtain from sanctum. But for this challenge you’ll have to complete
a level81(map Tier14+ above) full sanctum run with 15 afflictions which gonna be tricky, high
recommended to have a strong build to do this challenge.
Normal
This challenge introduces advanced mechanics of the Forbidden Sanctum, which expands on
challenge No.2 and No.6. The last 2 challenges can be very tricky to do, especially requires you to
do it in a high level area with certain conditions … yes it can be done in a party but all party
members have to be careful since the resolve/inspiration points are shared together, so be
careful with that. 😅
NOTE: This challenge is unshareable/can’t be shared in party and only map owners get it instead,
but there’s party services that can help sanctum’s owner to clear this challenge, which is by helping
clearing the room/bosses, plus member won’t lost resolve when in grace period(don’t move when
enter). So, as long as the sanctum's owner picks the room choice for the challenge, while the
service’s “carry” help clears the room for the owner, then it is “technically” achievable in party.
All party members who want the challenge have to survive throughout the fight, you won’t get the
challenge completion if you die halfway, and party members only need to join the last room of the
4th floor to get this challenge completed.
Normal
Rare Monster modifiers were heavily revamped in 3.20 expansion to make them resemble that of
what they were before Archenemesis was implemented into the core game. These mods had been
made much more simplified, easier to understand, and less dangerous now; from 1 mod that does a
lot of things into now where 1 mod does 1 thing instead. With 4 mod rares now being much more
common than they were previously, this challenge shouldn’t be a problem to be completed. You
could also farm more rare monster from abyss’s atlas passives; such as “Lightless Legion” and a
few small passives.
Normal
You can start maven’s witnessed your map’s boss after obtaining the Maven’s Beacon starting from
Tier6 maps, and to get 8 mods on red maps (Tier14+ maps), you need to use a Vaal Orb to
corrupt your map into possibly getting 8 mods on it.
Hmmm … a bit different from the traditional 8-modifiers map challenge, tone down difficulty from
tier16 to 14 but requires maven’s witnessed this time … still achievable with a decent character’s
build for this challenge, and even if your character can’t handle such content you are still able to
invite experienced players to join your map to complete this challenge easily.
You can do this challenge in party too by joining a player's map that has these conditions satisfied,
but make sure your maven’s witness is not full on your atlas, or else it doesn’t count towards your
challenge.

● 25 Eater of Worlds
You can take ”The Shadow of Hunger” from atlas passive to increase eater of world’s altar spawn
rate.
● 25 Searing Exarch
You can take ”The Light of Dawn” from atlas passive to increase searing exarch’s altar spawn rate.
Normal
Eldritch Altars and their rewards were heavily redesigned in the 3.20 expansion where Eldritch altars
will spawn more frequently but the number of Eldritch packs that spawn each map is no longer a
straight 60, but a random number between 20 and 60 every time. Stacking Pack Size and getting
the applicable Notables on the Atlas passive tree is the key to getting as many Eldritch Altars in a
single map. For this challenge you’ll have to activate at least 3 altars in a map on each influence
type for 25 times, on any tier map so it should be simple enough.
Watch Grimro video to learn how to farm these altar efficiently
❖ The Maven
❖ Uber Elder
Normal
Thanks to the 3.17 updates now that there is one large Atlas region instead of 4(old atlas), all
favored map slots can be applied on all map drops, unlike the old atlas system where you’re locked
in region per favourite map. You unlock these slots by doing very difficult end-game content so this
challenge is a bit challenging … best to invite experienced players to help with if your build can’t
handle some of the contents.
This is the last boss of the 1st floor sanctum. This boss fight is pretty easy because most of its
attack animations are telegraphed so it is very easy to know when it is about to attack. Best strategy
to fight this boss is to always stand behind it, which also helps to do this challenge too, to stand
behind when the boss is about to cast its “flamethrower” skill.
● Braom, the First Experiment and Uzar, the Second Experiment after killing one while
the other has 50% or more life
This is the last boss of the 2nd floor sanctum. This boss fight is pretty easy because the boss’s
attack animation is pretty slow … well except when one of the boss died the other will berserk and
become slightly faster a bit. This challenge is much easier to do with single-target build, basically
you have to only damage 1 of the boss 1st before killing the other one so that the other one will still
have more than 50% life before the 1st boss killed, only then killing the other to complete this
challenge.
● Xenathar, Templar Reaper without being hit by any lasers
This is the last boss of the 3rd floor sanctum. This boss fight is a bit hectic because many of the
boss’s skills can cover the whole arena and makes it hard to avoid all of them; such as a barrage of
innocence-like fireballs, bouncing-lasers, and innocence-like beam from the sky … all at once. So to
do this challenge try to avoid these bouncing-lasers around the room at all cost, also having high
damage character’s build does help to shorten the fight thus shorten the boss’s mechanics. Also
those bouncing-lasers only deal damage after a few seconds(expand animation), not when it
spawns, so it is okay to get past those lasers as long as you timed them correctly when those lassers
gonna deal damage in sequence.
This is the 1st form last boss of the 4th floor sanctum. During this boss fight, almost the whole
arena will be covered by enervation ground effects, and the safe ground will slowly move forward
as the boss’s life drops when you damage it. And after you deal enough damage to the boss, a
certain part of the enervation ground will be cleared and you’ll have to move forward and get past a
few of the death traps within the arena, only then you’ll get to fight the boss again at the end of the
arena. After defeating the boss there’s an entrance opened up at the left side of the boss arena, go
down there and receive your final reward(if you picked any sanctum’s completion offers). And
sometime after defeating this boss, there’s a chance a portal will open which lets you fight the 2nd
form of the boss, Lycia, Herald of Scourge(requires Tier14+ above to spawn). Thankfully for this
challenge you’ll only need to kill the 1st form of this boss, just always stay in the safe ground during
the whole fight then you’ll complete this challenge easily.
NOTE: Apparently members won’t get affected by enervation ground during the grace period(don’t
move when enter), so as long as the leader/carry manages to kill the boss within the grace period,
the member will be able to get the challenge completion easily.
Normal
Each floor of the Forbidden Sanctum has its own boss. If your character can’t handle such content
you can always invite experienced players to help you defeat them, just invite them as soon as
you're about to reach the next room of the boss. Also remember during sanctum, all
resolve/inspiration points are shared among all party members, so be careful with that.
● Incandescent Invitation
Buy normal/with 80%+
Normal
To do this challenge, you need to craft these invitation items into rare(etc: Orb of Alchemy) and
hopefully the modifiers give enough Item Quantity(IIQ) for the challenge. If not, you’ll have to
reroll it again via Orb of Scouring or Chaos orb to repeat the crafting process until you get
enough IIQ on the invitation item.
You could also try crafting map into corrupted-state via Vaal Orb and hopefully the invitation will
contain 8-modifiers which gives a lot more IIQ on the invitation item. Doing so would make the
fight even harder depending how strong your character’s build is, and if your build can’t handle such
content you can always invite experienced players to help you with defeating them whenever you
have the invitations item ready to open.
Maven’s Invitations can also get a free 36% IIQ from atlas passives too without increasing any
difficulty! Such as; ”Wandering Path” together with few atlas passives.
Maven's Punishment is a debuff where if you get touched by the splitting coil beam during the
“brain phase” where it joins the arena and shoots out the coil beams. This challenge will be difficult
to do especially during its 3rd(last) phase where there’s a lot of coil beams(5) rotating anti-clockwise
around the arena … so to do this challenge you’ll have to touch those beams to gain the debuffs only
then killing the boss to complete this challenge. The debuff makes it so you can’t recover life or
energy shields and lasts 10 seconds.
Desolation of the Awakener is a ground effect that was created from Sirus’s projection meteors
skill, and also during 3rd(last) phase Sirus will cover most of the outer arena with that ground
effects too. So to do this challenge you’ll have to damage enough Sirus to low life first, then try
stand in one of the ground only then kill off the boss while under the ground effects to complete this
challenge.
After the fight begins the arena will fill with these “runes” on the floor where you’ll get the
Searing Rune debuff if you stand on them. To do this challenge you’ll have to damage the boss’s
life till culling range, then you’ll have to stand on top of 1 of the runes only then instant culling kill
off the boss to complete this challenge. Apparently these “runes” can apply 2 different debuffs, 1st is
Searing Runes which you get from standing on it; 2nd is Cauterised Flesh which apply after you step
off from the rune and it lasts for 10 seconds. And this challenge wants the 1st debuff, not the 2nd
one even though it shares the same debuff icons.
Vortex Ground
To do this challenge, you’ll have to prepare these 2 ground effects overlapping each other at one
spot first, by waiting for the Propagator Minion to lay off the eldritch ground first, only then trying to
detonate an anomaly on top of the eldritch ground. After the preparation is done, progress the fights
until the last phase where only one of the bosses left alive, then you’ll have to stand on the 2
overlapping ground effects, then kill the last boss that left alive while standing on the ground effects
to complete this challenge.
Normal
Overall this conditional challenge is pretty tricky to do … But thankfully these challenges can be done
in parties too! Well, except for the one that needs “to get affected by something” challenges, those
need the members who want the challenges get affected by it too, instead of the carry/leader only.
If you wanna do the “affected” challenge, especially the degen damage one, I’d highly advice to take
stuff that can reduce the degen damage so that can survive long enough to do the challenge, such
as Soul of Arakaali pantheon or Lethe Shade keystone from passive tree.
Only need to do 5 out of 7 of these conditional boss challenges, in my opinion I would skip Uber
Elder and Sirus because the degen ground effect is pretty painful to survive … well unless someone
is willing to help me out with one of these then I might skip Shaper as my next choice because it is
too tricky to pull off this condition challenge.
● Level 100
Nowadays there are many ways to gain a lot of experience easily such as Infused Beachheads, Pure
Breachstones, the Domain of Timeless Conflict, and so on... And now we even have more ways to
increase the experience bonus gains from other league mechanics using atlas passive trees. But still,
leveling to 100 is a huge grind... Ya Path of Exile leveling is still 10 times better than in normal
MMOs but... one accidental death at high levels (which can happen quite a bit with this game), is
very hurtful if that 10% might’ve taken a couple hours to grind. If your build is not very end game-
focused or you are dying too often… I highly recommend you skip this.
● Open 400 Chests at the end of the Endgame Labyrinth
Wow … it's been a while since they brought back this WORST version of endgame labyrinth
grind(heist league) … with slightly reduced numbers from 500 to 400, pretty nice! This challenge
requires you to farm roughly around 100 labyrinth runs(bad RNG scenario, 4 keys per run), but we
can lessen the total number if you can find more than 5 keys(good RNG) per run. This challenge also
requires you to open Izaro’s Treasure chests that requires treasure keys to open them. Each
labyrinth run you can get up to 9 treasure keys(6 guarantee drops):
❖ 1st key can guarantee obtained by defeating Izaro itself.
❖ 2nd & 3rd keys can be guaranteed obtained by defeating Izaro without disabling his extra
buff/damage mechanics in each encounter(1 from each encounter, total of 2).
❖ 4th & 5th keys can be guaranteed obtained from Curious Lockboxes that lock behind gauntlets
that fill with traps or puzzles.
❖ 6th key can be guaranteed to be obtained from defeating its pet name Argus.
❖ 7th key can be obtained by chances from the darkshrine with Catchphrase: Discover what lies
within.
❖ 8th and 9th key can be obtained by chance from Izaro's Treasure that is located at the end of
the labyrinth after defeating Izaro.
(NOTE: Only the eternal or higher difficulty counts toward this challenge.)
● Complete 50 Forbidden Sanctum Floors that are area level 81 or higher
Probably another easy endgame grind challenge since it doesn’t need you to complete a full
sanctum, just complete any floor in an area level 81 above(map Tier14+) is already enough for this
challenge. And for a small number too, only 50 times, easy peasy!
● Complete 250 Red Tier Master Missions
Basically a slightly difficult version from previously red tier master missions challenge No.25, No.26,
No.28, & No.29. If you wanna do this challenge just repeat the previous challenge method and do a
lot more runs. Here’s a summary from previous challenges here:
❖ You can join other player’s master mission to get this challenge completion.
❖ Run short maps like City Square, Mesa, Vault Atziri map to trigger master missions
spawning faster from each map completion you’ve done.
❖ Craft “Gain one of each Atlas Mission” from Blood Altar which requires Primal Cystcaller for the
recipe, and this recipe can only be obtain from Einhar's Memory of Harvest Beasts quest.
● Complete 100 Elder Guardian, Shaper Guardian or Elderslayer Maps
They actually bring back the last league “Influenced Atlas” challenge into this league as an endgame
grind, which is pretty nice! Even though they scale up the numbers from 50 to 100 … is still good
and tolerable because it is a mixture of different endgame boss content into one challenge so is
much more flexible content to choose from to complete the challenge, instead of forcing players to
do all of it including the one we might hate. Is a really good improvement challenge, well done GGG!
👍
❖ There are 4 type of Elder Guardians:
➢ The Eradicator(map) - drop Fragment of Eradication
➢ The Constrictor(map) - drop Fragment of Constriction
➢ The Purifier(map) - drop Fragment of Purification
➢ The Enslaver(map) - drop Fragment of Enslavement
Also, you’ll able to fight The Elder boss by opening the fragments in your map device that
you’ve collected from all of these 4 different bosses.
❖ There are 4 type of Shaper Guardians:
➢ Guardian of the Phoenix(map) - drop Fragment of the Phoenix
➢ Guardian of the Hydra(map) - drop Fragment of the Hydra
➢ Guardian of the Minotaur(map) - drop Fragment of the Minotaur
➢ Guardian of the Chimera(map) - drop Fragment of the Chimera
Also, you’ll able to fight The Shaper boss by opening the fragments in your map device that
you’ve collected from all of these 4 different bosses.
❖ There are 4 type of Elderslayers:
➢ Al-Hezmin, the Hunter(map) - drop Al-Hezmin's Crest
➢ Baran, the Crusader(map) - drop Baran's Crest
➢ Drox, the Warlord(map) - drop Drox's Crest
➢ Veritania, the Redeemer(map) - drop Veritania's Crest
Also, you’ll able to fight Sirus, Awakener of Worlds boss by opening the fragments in your
map device that you’ve collected from all of these 4 different bosses.
● Defeat 100 Rare Monsters with Pantheon modifiers in Tier 16 Maps
This is the easiest challenge among the others endgame grind challenge, in fact pretty much similar
to challenge No.33 too. So by the time you almost finished challenge No.33, you should be also
finished or almost finished this challenge too depending on your RNG. This challenge basically wants
to inform players that there are vast changes on the rare monster in current 3.20 expansion,
especially for the pantheon modifiers(A.K.A The God-touched) Magic-Finding-farming strategy no
longer works now. Requires you to kill 100 of them just to prove this point. 🤣 You could also speed
up this challenge by doing Kirac's Memory of the Pantheon quest, which Kirac will provide maps
that contain a bunch of patheon monsters guarding shrines.
Hard
Overall, this league endgame grind challenge feels as easy and fun as last league, less big numbers
and flexible content to grind, nice IMPROVEMENT! Even improved the league’s mechanic grind which
is much easier than last league with smaller numbers in comparison. Only need to do 4 out of 6, so
my 1st challenge to skip I would definitely skip is Level 100 because I’m tired of doing leveling
content, well unless I have enough wealth to buy the leveling service of course but still I’d still prefer
investing it on gear or 2nd character perhaps … 2nd challenge that I would skip is 400 Labyrinth’s
Chest … well maybe not … depending on my mood if I wanna grind on the labyrinth content or not
for the enchant’s services wealth. And if I am willing to do labyrinth content, the next challenge I
would skip is 100 guardians because it takes longer time to do and requires a higher budget to
start with just for the map entry compared to the rest of the challenges … well maybe I would skip
250 master missions instead depending how many master missions I manage to collect myself.
Tip: You can do 100 guardians, and Red Tier Mission at the same time by doing Kirac’s master
mission that provide guardian maps, that way you complete both challenge at once, save times!
