STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study was undertaken to find out the impacts of procrastination to the academic
performance of Grade 11 students under Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
(STEM) strand in Juan Sumulong Campus, Arellano University. It aims to answer the following
questions:

1. How may the profile of the selected respondents in Juan Sumulong Campus, Arellano
University be described in terms of:
1.1 School’s Campus;
1.2 grade level; and
1.3 strand?
2. What are the effects of procrastination to the academic performance of students in terms of:
2.1 Productivity and Quality work;
2.2 Grades;
2.3 Exam or Test Scores;
2.4 Attendance?
3. Is there a significant relationship existing between the profile of the selected students in Juan

Sumulong Campus, Arellano University and the effects of procrastination to the academic

performance of the students in terms of productivity and quality work, grades, exam or test

scores, and attendance?
