This specification is based on the original Ministry of Construction's "About Issuance of(2007Establishment of annual

engineering construction standards and specifications,Notice of Revised Plan (Second Batch)" (Building Standards[2007] 126No.)

requirements, compiled by MCC Construction Research Institute Co., Ltd. in conjunction with relevant units.

This specification proposes the structural design of welded connections for steel structures.,make,Material,Craftsmanship,QC,

Personnel and other technical requirements. At the same time, in order to implement the national technical and economic policies and

reflect the concept of sustainable development in the field of steel structure construction, this specification not only controls the welding

quality of steel structures, but also strengthens energy conservation.,Material saving and environmental protection requirements.

During the preparation process of this specification, the practical experience and research results of steel structure

welding in my country in recent years were summarized. The preparation team carried out a number of special studies and fully

adopted new welding technologies and processes that have been applied in actual engineering.,new materials, and drew on

relevant international standards and foreign advanced standards, extensively solicited opinions from all parties, repeatedly

discussed and revised the specific content, and finalized it after review.

The main contents of this specification include: general principles, terms and symbols, basic provisions, materials, welded

connection structural design, welding process qualification, welding process, welding inspection, welding reinforcement and

reinforcement, etc..

The provisions marked in bold in this specification are mandatory provisions and must be strictly followed

implement.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is responsible for the management and interpretation of the mandatory

provisions of this Code, and the MCC Construction Research Institute Co., Ltd. is responsible for the interpretation of the specific technical
