MY JOURNEY

Globalization describes and explains nothing more than a world which is characterized
by networks of connections that span multi-continental distances. This refers to the increase or
decline in the degree of globalism. It focuses on the forces, the dynamism or speed of these
changes. The rapid increase of manufacturing in emerging markets has led to strong demand
for many commodities, and thus, to steady upward pressure on the prices of many of the
commodities that the Philippines produces and exports.
It can be intensified through people exploring products, cultures, beliefs, and etc. One of
the factors of intensification of globalization/globalism is xenocentrism. The concept of
xenocentrism is the preference for the products, style, culture, people, significant others, and
food of others, rather than of one's own.
