Performance Notes
Option 1: “Veni Creator Spiritus,” found above, accompanied by randomly rung Handbells, may precede the
singing of “Creator Spirit, Heavenly Dove.” At the conclusion of the chant, the random Handbell ringing
continues until the Organ begins the Introduction to the hymn.

Option 2: Begin this anthem with the Introduction for Brass Quartet and Organ, found on page 3.
Option 3: This setting may be used for the Fred Pratt Green text “The Church of Christ, In Every Age,” by
making the necessary adjustments in the phrasing of the various stanzas.
